Ludwig POV

It was a summer, there festival for the Fourth of July which me and Feliciano went to Kiku's home town, as it was tradition that we usually did. Kiku couldnt attend this years festival sadly, so it was just me and Feli. I didnt mind much at all since me and Feliciano could have a good time together. The time was when the sun setting when the sky had a mixture of orange, blue and a light purple. There was a soft breeze that would brush up against our skin. It was calm yet soothing to me and it seemed that the weather kept Feli from being crazy. He looked so relax and tranquil. Along the side walk, hung lanterns that had different Japanese meanings such as 'love' and 'peace' something along the lines just to keep people in a positive mood.

I looked at Feli only to see he was already looking up at me. He spoke with his usual cheerful tone with filled me up a bit.

"Luddy~ Can we have something eat oh please please!~" He begged this puppy eyes which made it so I couldnt deny it.

I nod and I take his hand so he couldnt get lost in the huge crowd of people. The warmth of his hand felt nice with my hands but I knew they were going to get a bit clammy, which made me a but anxious but I wasnt sure if he would notice or not. I walked with him to the different food stands which each stand had a verity of delicacies from all around the world. From French which were surprisingly delicious to me, Japanese, America, and the one almost everyone made the decision to stay away, the British samples. Feli seemed to be enjoying himself, when we came to a stop he looked up at me. Feliciano's eyes were a twinkling ember which felt as if they were staring deeply into my icy, piercing blue ones. I take notice that he has a light tinted blush dusted across his cheeks which, at the moment, I didnt notice mine had been doing the same. After a small while of exchanging glances at each other he let out a small giggle.

"Lud lets go play some games together then we can go to the field and find the best spot to relax and look up at the fireworks!" Feliciano cheered.

I agreed with him with a simple nod.

Feliciano POV

When I see him nod, I pull him along into the isles of games and activities we can do, there was so much and I knew that we couldnt get to all of it. All the games did look like they could be fun and I didnt know where to start. One game did catch my attention and it was one of those games where you could test your strength. I wanted to show Luddy I could be strong like him and also I wanted that green teddy bear, so I pulled him along with me so we could play. After paying for the game, I grab the hammer given to me and slam it down the hardest I can onto the target near the floor. I pout to see it not go as high as I hoped. I was going to give in one that bear when Ludwig stepped in and paid for a turn. Without even trying too much it goes skyrocketing to the top, ringing the bell. I look at Luddy astonished and I see him pick out the prize I wanted, I guess he had saw me eyeing it,

"Aww grazie Lud~" I smile widely and hug his arm, he did tense up but he calmed and blushed.

"J-ja ja no need to thank me" He mumbled softly, feeling flustered and embarrassed.

For the next few hours me and Lud went around playing games together, I think this is the most Ive seen him smile like this. To see him so..happy makes me feel so tingly and I cant really explain it. Soon we went to the field where we would all go but now it was just the two of us, just us...huh that did sound bad. Just me and Luddy...

I didnt realize it but I was staring at Lud, admiring him in all his glory. I was caught red handed when we ended up exchanging glances again like we did before. Neither of us looked away and all honesty I know that I didnt want to. We both seemed to lean in slowly but that was when the fireworks started to go off with a loud bang.

Ludwig POV

We both turned out head immediately to see the big bright ball of colors blow in the air, making an array of sparks fly. The different types of fireworks, the amazing verity, all the different hues of colors that were visible to the human eye. Each firework would burst into a thousand different hues of rainbow colors. It was all so magnificent in this midnight blue sky, the stars shining as bright as each firework that was shot into the air.

I look at Feliciano to see the way he had felt about all this, by the looks of it he was amazed as much as I was. We may have been to this festival so many times in our life but this time felt different and I think he felt that way too. Something about this time felt so special and meaningful, more than the others which was harder to explain, I couldnt find the right word for it. I ended up looking at Feliciano and staring at him but he didnt seem to notice at first. That moment before it all started..I knew what was going to happen so...

"Feliciano.." I spoke softly

"Si Luddy~" He turned to me and spoke in a chipper and giddy mood.

And with that I went for it...we kissed...finally. I felt as if this needed to happen for so long. Firecrackers going off in the back of us as we held the kiss for a bit longer. Soon we had to pull away and we looked at each other in the eyes. We both smiled.

"Ti amo Luddy~"

"Ich leibe dich Feliciano"

And with that we watch the rest of the firecrackers...hand and hand...fingers intertwined.
