When I Met You

Chapter 2

Draco's POV:

When dinner ended I was heading up to the Slytherin boy dormitories but was stopped by Potter with him pushing me against the wall.

"I know what your up to! Stay away from my sister or you'll face the consequences!" He said with a cold voice but then walked away.

He then walked away back to Weasley, Granger, and his girlfriend Weaselette. I then walked to the Slytherin common room.

When I walked in there were only a few people in the common room.

My eyes then set on Laila talking with Pansy and Blaise.

"Hey Draco!" Said Blaise waving his hand motioning me to come to him. "Hey Drakie!" Said Pansy winking at me. I just rolled my eyes at her.

"Hey." Said Laila looking back at Blaise and Pansy. "So hold on! You were raised by someone but was never told that you were Potter's brother?" Asked Blaise.

"Yup, that's what happened." Said Laila suprisingly comfortable with the conversation.

"Who took care of you?" "Umm... I know he was a Professor here at Hogwarts but he died during the war." She said with a sad look on her face.

"What was his name?" Asked Pansy budding in the conversation. "Severus Snape." She said causing everyone in the Common room to gasp.

"Snape raised you?!" I asked making sure I heard her right.

"Yes, is that a problem?" She asked with a confused look.  "No it's just no one knew he was raising a child ; not even my own family and he's my Godfather."

She looked at me with wide eyes. "He  never told me that. I'm sure I would have seen you because I remember probably seeing your parents once."

Then I start to remember.

Flashback~

I was 10 years old play on my broomstick in my backyard when I hear my house elf call me.

"Master Draco! Master Draco!" Yelled the House elf getting my attention. "What do you want!" I said rudely.

"Your mother says to come to the front of the house in 5 minutes to be ready to go the Severus Snape's house." Said the elf looking down to the ground trembling.

"Alright , what is your name again?" "Dobby master Draco." He said looking up. "Well Dobby, tell my mother I'll be there in a few minutes since I have to put my Quititch supplies away."

"Yes of course master Draco." He said quickly running inside the house.
5 minutes later~

We had finally made it to Severus's house. "Hello Draco....Narcissa, and Lucius." Said Snape in his usual cold voice.

"Before you head off Draco , remember to not go near the northern side of the house." Said Snape get my attention.

"Yes Severus." But of course I always end up sneaking in and out without anyone noticing but this time it was different. When I went to his garden I notice this girl my age sitting in the grass with a flower crown on her head.

I quietly walk over to her. She was singing when I got closer. "🎼Lavenders green dillie dillie lavenders blue, if you love me dillie dillie I will love you.🎼" She sang.

She had an amazing singing voice , but I stepped on a twing and she spotted me.

"Who are you?" She asked scared looking around for anyone coming. "I'm asking you the same thing."

"Well I'm Laila and I live here!" She said  getting feisty. "You live here?! I'm Severus's Godson!"

"He never told me he had a Godson." She said shocked of  what I just said.

"Are you close with him?" I said sitting on the grass In front of her. "A little bit. He tells me that I have my mother's eyes." She says playing with the grass.

"What happened to your Mother?" "She was killed when I was a baby." She said looking at the ground. "I never knew her. Severus found me and took me in." She said smiling at me.

She was very kind. We talked about our interests and our lives. We were in our own bubble with no distractions.

I started to like her. She was sweet and kind. Then sudden our attention went to A booming voice that came from behind us.

"Draco! What are you doing here!"Yelled Snape.

"Severus why didn't you tell me you had someone living with you?" I asked.

"That is none of your business and you two will never see each other again! End of story!" Said with his booming voice.

"What!" Said Laila and me in unison!

"Severus you can take us away from each other we're friends!" Said Laila pleading at Snape.

"Go to your room! Now!" Yelled Snape.

Laila than started to pout. She turned around and slowly started to walk away but stopped. She then turned around and darted back to me and attacked me with a hug.

She then whispered in my ear saying "I will see you again one day I know it." I felt my shirt getting damp and i knew she was crying. She surprised me by giving me a kiss on the cheek say her final goodbye.

She then ran inside.

End of flashback~

"I remember now!" Laila looked at me with confused eyes. I then did something I never thought I would do for anyone. I sang the song she sang when I first met her.

" 🎼 Lavenders green dillie dillie Lavenders blue, if you love me dillie dillie I will love you🎼." After I sang everyone stared at me with shock.

I looked into Laila's eyes. She started to tear up. Then jumped on my causing me to loose my balance with her falling on top of me hug me tightly.

"I told you we would see each other again!" She said letting a few tears fall.
