Olivia's eyes fluttered open, when she looked at the clock, she suddenly shot up. The clock read 7:30, a few minutes later she was in her works clothes rushing around the kitchen trying to make her daughter Ellie breakfast. "Come on guys it's late! We need to get-" she turned round to see Noah already in his clothes as well as Ellie eating his cereal while Ellie was waiting for hers. "Oh, how long have you been awake" she asks Noah as she gave Ellie a bowl of Fruit Loops and started making her coffee. "Well Mom I've been up since like 6:30 and I had to get up extra as it is careers week and your coming to school today to talk about your career?" Olivia turned around with regret on her face. "Oh god that's today?" Noah sighed frustratedly "Look Noah honey I'm sorry I totally forgot, work has been tough recently." "Yeah, but mom aren't we a priority, I mean don't we come first" Olivia sighed and strokes his hair out of his face. "Of course you are Noah sweetie it's just work can get in the way sometimes"
"Well you missed my first parents evening, and my 8th grade graduation need I go on?" Olivia had loads of guilt on her face, she loved her kids but she loved her job too and she became an SVU detective for a reason and couldn't break that promise.

"Ellie hurry up please I don't want to be late again" "I'm coming mommy" Ellie rushed down the stairs with a purple rain coat on and yellow wellies and a pink bag. Noah was ready to go out the door. "Right car keys, bag, badge, gun and lunch!, right lets go" As Olivia opened the door, she saw a girl who looked about 18 crying on her door step, when the girl looked up she realised who it was. "Olivia?, Oh my god what happened?" "Mom who's this?" "This is your cousin Olivia named after me" "Aunt Liv, I was raped!" She burst into to tears.

The Priscinct
Liv's POV
I walked into the squad room feeling so angry, Fin could see this. I stormed into my office, sat down and buried my face into my hands so much stress is going through my thoughts, what Noah said before made me realise just how manic my life is. I suddenly startled by a knock at my door my head shot up, it was only Fin. I gestured him to come in. "Hey Liv you okay, you see stressed" Fin asked as he came up to her desk "I'm fine it's just family make you realise how manic life really is" Fin folded his arms. "But that's not all is it?" I sighed as if I was giving in "You remember my niece Olivia?" Fin nodded "Well when I was about to go through the door this morning to take Noah and Ellie to school, she turned up at my door step battered and bruised saying she had been raped" Fin frowned "Where is she now? Gettin a rape kit I imagine" "Nope she's refused to she's being looked after in the cells by Dr Wong" I sigh "But Livv she really needs to-" "I know Fin, I know but she is 18 and she's allowed to make her own choices if she was a minor then she'd have no choice" "So you gonna solve this case?" "It's my duty to, she's my niece I'm not only doing this for her, but for my brother too he would have wanted this."

A few minutes later me and Fin came out of the office and joined my team. Rollins was sitting at her desk talking to Amaro and Carisi was doing paper work when they came. I went over to them with papers in my hand and reaching for the clicker. "Right her names Olivia, she's 18 claiming rape and seeing the evidence on her face suggests that she's telling the truth so I want you to check all the males in her life, anything about her past that can tell us who's done this-" "But what about the Amy Manning Case we've been working on it for 3 weeks now" Amanda interrupted.I looked at her with annoyance in my face "Amanda we all know that without the DNA we can't say where her boyfriend was at the time, that case was cold long before a week now if you mind just do what I ask! Okay, no questions just get to" "Jhezz I was asking" I turned back towards her "Yeah well when your family is involved then ask me about another case" I grabbed my coat, read the text is received and walked out of the precinct everyone watching me as left, as I had made quite a scene.

Writers POV
"What was that all about?" Carisi asked suddenly standing up any front to face the squad, once she had gone. "The rape victim, who's 18 is Liv's niece who showed up at her house this morning crying that she'd been raped and she looked battered and bruised" said Finn The whole squad stood silently not knowing what to say.

Mercy Hospital
Liv's POV
I arrived at the hospital doctors and nurses rushing about, patients talking to there loved ones and babies crying in the maternity wing. I then saw Dr Wong was with her, I was frustrated because I could see no one has done the rape kit yet. "What the hell is going has no one seen you yet Liv?" "She didn't want to do the kit with out Family being their, are you okay Olivia?" Dr Wong asked concerned. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine me and Amanda had abit of a disagreement and I caused a scene but it was nothing. I went over to Olivia and stroked her hair. "Now Olivia is there anything you want to tell me about last night before we start the rape kit. "I don't know I-it all happened so fast I-, I was with some girls at a bar because it was my Freinds 18th she was the last one of us to turn 18 and so it was a special night, anyway we all knew this guy kept on eyeing us up while we were having a good time, i didn't think anything of it until at about 1am when I was walking down 5th Avenue, I noticed some guy was follow long me" she began to cry "B-but I couldn't g-get away fast enough, he dragged me into an Alley and unbuttoned my jeans, forced my thighs open, a-and put him self inside of me" she let out a loud cry, a tear came down my face "Did he say anything to you could you see his face" "No he-actually wait no yes, he Called me the Livvy Mister but no-one has called me that since high school".
