What If I Don't Want To Know Him?

Liv's POV 

"Are we clear on this Sargent Benson.....you are not to make any more arrests only order them" those words made me so angry as i sat in the office looking at Cragen, Tucker and the Commissioner. "Yes don't worry it's perfectly clear, I've heard it all before" i rested my elbows on the table and clapped my hands together, while watching them leave, i rolled my eye as they left. Now leaning my back on the chair i was in such a mess, it had been a 3 days since i had told Elliot and i just kept checking my phone, just to see if he had sent me a message or if i had any missed call, but there was nothing. I chucked my phone on the table,just then someone knocked on the door. "Uh Sarg?" "yes Carisi?" "We may have found something" "Best news I've heard all day." I smiled faintly as i got up from my chair and followed Carisi into the squad room. "So what have we got" i said standing there with my arms folded. "Okay so we know from the news report that Bullock was in New Jersey, but it turns out from someone in the news crew that before he came on the news he had checked into a hotel the day before, which was courtesy of the news channel, went on the news and went back to the hotel and never left, but he checked out yesterday and that's where we lost him." "Buuuut, me and Fin went to Check out the hotel to see if anyone remembered him, we spoke to the desk clerk and he left a cell number, but he wasn't sure why" I smiled for he first time in a while. "Guys, great work....um Amaro, Carisi, get TARU to track down that number see where a call was made last with or to that number in past 5 days. Amanda and Fin go to the News set, find out how they got in touch with my- Mr Bullock he didn't just appear out of no where. "Where are you going?" Carisi asked. "I Detective Carisi, need to pick up my children from school." i smiled and walked out the squad room.

I arrived at the school waiting for Noah to come with Ellie. "So you found a lead to try and find our father huh?" Lewis said as he appeared next to me in the car he was looking over at me i found it very unsettling. "Oh what the hell do you care?" i said turning towards him in annoyance. "Didn't say i did, but just to warn you-" "Ah well there's a first" He looked over at me i could see his eyes beaming, he hated being interrupted. "Like i was saying....i just want to warn you that when you do meet him all might not be what it seems" I scoffed. "You don't know that!, you didn't see the news report" "A leopard never changes it's spots" I suddenly heard a knock on the car window, it was Noah with Ellie. I turned around and realized that Lewis wasn't there anymore. i let them in the car, Noah sat in the front while Ellie sat at the back. "So how are my two favourite kids huh?" "I'm great Mommy, we got to make a family tree today, but i haven't finished mine yet, it's not complete" Noah laughed "That's so lame, i won a trophy today for being the best player in soccer!" "A family tree isn't lame!" "Is too!" "Is not!" "is too!" "Is not!" "is too!" "Okay!, guys come on stop it now..." Just then the phone rang me thinking it was Elliot, i looked at my phone, but my smile dropped, when i saw it was just Carisi. "Yes Carisi..." "Hey Sarg....um we think we may have found him are you able to come back now?" "Yeah Uh sure" I said as i hung up the phone" Noah looked over at me after he had finished doing his seat belt. "Mom, are we going home?" I look over at him while putting the keys in the ignition. "No Sweetie mom needs to go to the precinct, we have a lead on your cousins case." I lied. Noah sighed, I could see that he was getting fed up but i had to do this. I had to find my father.

We arrived back at the precinct i had Ellie in one hand and Noah was beside me. As we got out of the lift, everyone was there including Elliot, i was surprised i walked up to the squad. "El, what are you doing here?" He turned around. "Well i couldn't let my favorite girl find her dad by herself now could I?" I smiled at him, realized i had been forgiven. "And this must be Ellie?" he knelt down to Ellie who was still holding my hand. "hello sweetie, i'm Elliot I'm your-" "Daddy!" She let go of my grip and ran up to Elliot and hugged him, which came by surprise to all of us. But Elliot giggled once he was in Ellie's embrace. "Yeah, i'm your daddy." he hugged her tight. "Right quick why don't you go with your brother to the children's room". Ellie smiled and took her brothers hand as she followed him. "Right so, Amanda and Finn are at the studio still but while we were with TARU and they traced the number to Samuel Bullock." I looked at the file, looking at the picture of his drivers license. "As I felt the water run down my skin I was receiving flashbacks from when we retrieved Eddie and seeing a man standing there smiling looking over at me. For some reason he only looked at me, when the flashback got clearer I could see the mans face. I quickly opened my eyes and gasped in shock. "B-but it can't be!" "Liv?, Liv? you okay?" I suddenly felt Elliot's hand on my shoulder. "yeah, Yeah i'm fine do you know the last call he made?" "Ahh well we should be getting the results about....Now" Nick said he went over to his computer. "Oh man" Me and Elliot and Carisi turned to his direction. "Nick what is it?" "Liv, the number that came back that he called last was..." He pressed the promote for the screen and on it appeared a picture of my drivers license. "He called Liv?" "Liv!, Liv!" Came Amanda shouting out as her and Fin ran in. "Liv, we found out that they didn't get in contact with him, he got in contact with them. Nick paced up and down. "What's this guys game, what does he get out of it?" "Well he want's Liv's approval for something, if we could find out what that would help". Carisi gestured Finn looked at Elliot and me. Amanda, Carisi and Nick looked confused. "What?, what is it?" Finn walked up to me. "Baby girl they need to know" i scratched my nose, wanting to avoid it. "Tell us what Liv?" I sighed and gave in. "That man that's my father is the reason why my mom hated me..." Carisi was confused "......in the 70's my mom was raped a-and the end result was me, i'm a child of rape" Amanda and Carisi suddenly feeling sorry for me as i could see in there faces, but Nick was angry. "Liv, he said that he wanted to reconcile for what he did, maybe this is just him trying to attract your attention." I sighed fustratedly  "yeah well there's no point now" "Liv, you've wanted this for years-" "What if i don't want to!.....What if i don't want to know him."
