Pushing Buttons

Nick's POV
So me and Amanda are out trying to see if we can lift some fingerprints from Liv's door. When we came there was police tape all around the door. We got our equipment and started working on the door. Just then a man who looked about in his forties came over to us.
"Hi sorry I don't mean to intrude but are you looking for the man who stuck that note on Olivia's door this morning?" Amanda looked over at me and then put things down and went over to the man. "Who are you?" "Oh I'm Olivia's neighbour from across the road I've known her since Ellie was born as I helped out abit when Liv was going through a terrible time after her partner left" Nick looked at him suspiciously "Do you know who it was that stuck the note on Liv's door?" The man looked at us as if we thought he was stupid. "I can show you" He led us inside his house. "I had this security camera installed in my car after 9/11, and it didn't hit me until now that I know who it was" He showed us a man who looked about 18 posting the note on the door. He then turned around so the camera had good eye on him. "Matthew Lewis is his name, such a troubled kid it's a shame" "Why do you say that?" Amanda asked "Well his mum and dad were high school sweethearts but then his mom died when Matthew was just ten years old and he's father 5 years later was put in prison so he's been from foster home to foster home until he was 18" I looked over at the camera. Lewis?? Why do I know that Surname from somewhere?! "Do you mind us keeping a copy of that footage?" I asked him hurriedly "Of course be my guest "Thank you" said Amanda in relief "Your very welcome, and tell Olivia that Adam said hi" I turned back to him. "We will" I smiled at him and walked back to the car.

"We need to get back to the precinct now!!" I Shouted over to Amanda. "Took the words right out of my mouth"

Liv's POV
I had just come back from my lunch break, everyone was looking at me. I felt intimidated and I knew I was in trouble for something because everyone gave me the famous "What have you done now" look I walked into my office. And I was stopped in my tracks as I saw Olivia, Captain and Tucker. I sighed in frustration knowing what was going to be said. "Lieutenant Benson I thought I told you to back off, from this case" Tucker said to me. He sounded pissed "And I thought I told the Captain that I won't let no son of bitch tell me what I can and cannot do". I crossed my arms in annoyance "Because of your actions your Nephew was kidnapped, and now you believe that your kids are in danger and now this note has been placed on your door!, so this son of a bitch can tell you because he knows your not safe" I laughed "Since when do you care, and anyway we have a lead because Amanda and Nick have gone looking for finger prints where the man left the note" I went to sit at my desk, I sat back in my chair. Tucker and captain came up to my desk. "Liv I've always cared that's why I didn't want you in the case and anyway you know it's standard procedure!" "Yeah, well why did you end it then?!, because If you cared so much, you wouldn't have called me a liar when I told you I didn't cheat" Tucker went silent "look Livv the point is, you've got your self involved in this case and there is no way out of it and-" Just then Amanda and Nick came running in the office. "Can't you knock?!" I shout "Sorry Liv but you gotta see this."

Me, Tucker, Captain and Olivia all rushed out of my office, to see what Nick was going to show us. "Okay so we were at the house getting finger prints off the door, when this man asked us about being there and said that he could show us, his name was Adam" "Adam, my neighbour from across the street?" I asked confused "Yeah, luckily he had installed a camera in his car after 9/11 and the camera caught the guys sticking the note to your door!" He played the clip, on the clip the man was looking around him to make sure no one was looking then he stuck the note on my door. When he turned around, Olivia gasped. "O-oh my god!" I suddenly turned to her. "Olivia?" "T-that's Matthew Lewis we were in high school together, I remember now, in 10th grade he asked me out once and I laughed and said no" She started to get worried, "do you think that's why he did it?" Lewis?, Lewis?! Why does that name ring a bell?! I turned back to Nick. "Did he give you an address of where Matthew lives?" He reached out into his pocket, and he then took out a pen and started writing on the bored. The address of where he lived, was just outside queens. Everyone got there coats and rushed out me Fin and Olivia in one car and Amanda, Nick and Sonny in the other with a swat team, alarms were blazing as we zoomed down the street, as we made it to edge of queens, Fin noticed someone running out of the house. "Son of bitch is runnin' " Fin shouted as the car went to a sudden stop and me fin ran out the car to chase him down the street, Amanda, Nick and Sonny were at the other end of the street, the perp began laughing as he thought he'd got away when out of nowhere Carisi knocked him out. Me and Fin came running afterwords. "Nice job Carisi!" I said and I smirked "Matthew Lewis you are under arrest for rape, you don't have to say anything, anything you do say may harm your defence and be given in evidence that we may rely on in court, oh and mind your head" he looked at her in anger as he stepped into Nicks car.

The Precinct
Liv's POV
We had stuck him in an interrogation room. I stood at the glass watching him, he seemed so familiar and now i looked at him, did look a lot like me and Olivia,scary thoughts started to escape my mind. All of the bad memories started flooding back. The correction facility, Him and the day Elliot left. My thoughts were interrupted when Fin came up behind me I almost jumped out of my skin "Babygirl you okay?" I smile at him "Yeah, yeah I'm fine, just too much going on up here, anyway you ready to interview him?" "There's no leanancy with this prick, he's gone personal and that's all we need"
Me and Fin walked inside I sat down facing Matthew but he wasn't talking, he just sat there staring at me. "Are you going to talk or are going to just play guess the rapist?" He smirked and then chuckled "You think this is funny don't you, going around raping girls thinking it's all cool" "I don't go around rapin girls!! That's just not me!" "Yeah well then why was your semen found inside of her you little son of bitch?" Fin tossed a picture of Olivia on the table I looked at for just second feeling as if I was about to cry Matthew saw this and spoke "So what if I did?, she was a disgusting whore anyway!" He laughed I got angry. "You son of a bitch!, she's no whore!, she's a mother and she has a great job! I grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall I went up all in his face. "Did she reject you in high school is that it?" "No, no your wrong" "I'm wrong huh, it's okay we've all been there but you, you decided to take it further didn't you" "No!" "You followed her when she's trying to have a good time, and you and your buddy raped her because you thought it would release you of the pain-" "IT WASNT ABOUT HER!" I suddenly stepped back "It wasn't....about her" "Right so your telling us that you raped her because of someone else?" Fin said he laughed because he knew we had found our guy "I was getting revenge!" "For your self because she rejected you in high school!" I shouted "NO!, Revenge for my father" I looked at him my eyes beamed "What's your father got to do with this?" "Well you were the one who put him in prison? Weren't you?" He smirked "I have put many men in prison" "listen cut the crap!, what's your fathers name?!" He turned to look at me because he knew I'd react.

"William.....Lewis" I suddenly backed away and ran to the sqaud room Carisi, Amaro and Rollins were all there with Barba and Olivia, tears were rolling down my cheeks "Aunt Liv what's wrong" she ran over to me and hugged me. I sat down in a chair. "Liv? What's wrong" Barba now asked concerned Fin them came out and they all looked at Liv. "Matthew he-he said that the rape wasn't about her that it was about revenge for his father-" The sqaud all looked at each other "So who's his father?" "W-William Lewis, Amanda an Nick looked at each other Carisi was confused "Wait that means if Matthew is her cousin, then that means" Amanda looked down at Liv. "Lewis, was my brother" I started feeling sick as I ran to the toilets, I sat on the toilet floor crying, confused and disgusted!*************************************
Didn't expect that did ya!!!! I'm sowwy for mentioning him!!!! But I thought it would make the story more spicy sooooo what's gonna happen now?!!!! Well you may have to wait three weeks as I'm going to Canada and won't be back till the 31st buttttttt, because I will still have 8 days of summer left me and libertybailey10 will be writing as soon as I get back and can I just say that you a re a great writer and I feel so proud to be writing this with you gonna miss you  and writing with you and I'm gonna miss all my followers!!!!
