We rode silently to my house. My head was still spinning from the amazing kiss that had happened less than an hour ago. The silence that enveloped us both slowly suffocated me. Something as strong as gravity seemed to be pulling me toward him, making me want to touch, feel and taste every single inch of his body. The thing was, I didn't disagree with the urge.

I could tell Xander felt similarly. His one hand on the wheel was almost completely white from gripping the so tightly wheel. His perfect jawline was clenching over and over again, as if a rhythm was playing back in head that he was synced with.

We finally reached my house and I mouthed a silent hallelujah. It was probably the most awkward and sexual tension-filled car ride of my life. I hated it, but kind of liked it at the same time.

Xander got out of the car and walked over to my side to open the door for me, but I didn't see him coming. I swung the door open just as he bent down to reach for the door handle. It hit him directly on his forehead and he stumbled back a bit, but managed to rebound after a few seconds.

"Oh my lanta, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I quickly scrambled out and put one arm around him and the other over his hand on his forehead. He chuckled and nodded his head.

"I'm totally fine," he groans slightly and grabs my hand smoothly, "let me walk you to your door."

When we reach the front door, Xander lets go of my hand and stands in front of me awkwardly. Neither of us really knew what to say.

"So, good night," I finally say.

"Um good night," he says. He turns and starts to walk away. Seeing him walk away after such an eventful day makes me somewhat sad. I kind of wanted him this stay. There was no way that that would happen, but my heart still craved it. I was about to open my door when he turned back around.

"So, um, I was thinking. Maybe you would like to go out on a date with me? Or maybe even be my girlfriend. It's okay if you don't want to, it's totally your choice. But I would love to tak..." I cut off his awkward rambling by softly kissing him. He immediately responds and wraps his arms around my waist.

I pull away and look him in the eyes, "I would love to."

I press my lips upon his again and we are going at it once again.

If someone would have told me this morning that I would kiss Xander for the first and then we would be all over each other for the rest of the day, I would have laughed in your face and probably accidentally spit on you. But here we were and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I stopped the kiss and couldn't help but smile up at him, "Do you want to come inside?"

"Damn Barbara, I thought you'd never ask," he laughed and opened the door for me.

I stood back and shook my head, "No, my dear Albert, you go first." I bow and hold the door open for him.

"Why thank you, m'lady," he curtsied and femininely pranced through the doorway.

I laughed and followed him in, closing the door behind me. "So do you wa..." I was interrupted by my dog, Mickey, attacking Xander, licking every inch of his exposed skin.
