Part 4

Recounting the events of Mr. Taylor and his family feels somewhat of a blur. At least that's how Damon felt when he woke up the following day. This never usually happened to vampires, but there was a first time for everything. As his eyes drifted open, he slowly sat up looking around. He was still in the Taylor house and he still felt hungry. As he began to sit up he was blocked by something underneath the blanket. Moving his hands he felt the outline of a body and smirked. That memory flooded back to him. Melissa Taylor. The daughter of the woman he killed last night. As Damon moved the blanket off of her the face was pale white, but she had been beautiful when blood flowed throughout her veins.

"I'm sure you were fun. Sadly I can't remember."

With a nudge he pushed her off the bed and stood up, walking over to the mirror. Bloodstained mouth, ruffled up hair.

"I was wondering when you'd wake the hell up!"

He quickly turned around as he focused his eyes on the woman sitting next to him. She wasn't looking in his direction, only smiling.

"Ellie.."

She slowly turned her head to him as if it were like a doll from a horror movie. Damon's life was the makings of a horror movie.

"I'm surprised you remembered my name to be honest. What with you going crazy last night, So crazy that you can't even remember the gory details."

How could she know that about him, He was more powerful than she was He had turned her. something clicked in Damon's mind, something that made him believe that it was her fault that he couldn't remember what had happened or anything from last night.

"And something tells me I have you to thank for that."

She laughed slightly, dangling her leg over the side of the chair. "Hm, Perhaps."

He moved closer to her.

"Congratulations, Now i'm gonna kill you like I should've done that night at the diner."

A fake pout took over Ellie's face, but quickly disappeared with another laugh. Slowly she stood up and grabbed his hand, placing it on her own chest.

"Please, You wouldn't kill me, Cause I know deep down you're so very curious about what happened."

A Small smirk appeared on his face, as he pulled the vampire girl closer. So close that their mouths were only inches apart. She wanted him to kiss her, he knew that. As he slowly moved in, she followed after, BAM! Ellie hit the wall so hard she felt like her head was going to split into two. Her eyes, were shut and she forced them open she saw Damon had put her against the wall, And had now was started to choke her. His eyes narrowed. But he released her, tossing her to the other side of the room where she rolled over blurring upwards.

"What's wrong Damon, can't kill me?.."

He kept his face to the wall as he didn't bother to answer her. What did he care. Turning around he brushed past her and walked out of the room.

Later that day with the persistent help of Ellie, Damon collected all the bodies and put them in the center of the house. He planned on burning the house down along with the bodies. Ellie had questioned him because she had been around when Damon promised Byron that he himself would give the house up to Byron's family. His only response.

"I lied."

That was when she revealed a little history from the night before. A part where his mind was blank.

"Last night, one of the first things you did..."

The story went on for what felt like an hour to Damon, but she had explained it all and he listened to every minor detail. ---- Ellie spoke from the background after hearing the Salvatore boy ask Mr. Taylor if he could come in.
