What had happened the previous night was shocking. When it finally turned midnight a bright flash of light came through Mike's window and he started to toss and turn in his bed. He shot out of bed and started convulsing on the floor, gasping for air from the pain. Mike started to sweat violently and then started to grow in great proportions. Patches of fur started to grow around his body. Huge black claws started to grow where his fingernails should be. His limbs elongated and his muscles started to expand ferociously.
There now stood a large wolf in Mike's place, then he shot out the window howling into the night. When he finally got back to his room he was back in his human form not knowing what just happened. He went straight to his bed and went right to sleep.
While Mike was looking the tape over his eyes grew wide and his jaw dropped to the floor. He kept replaying what he saw in his mind.
Mike goes to school that day ready to confront his teacher about what had happened. In his Physical science class Mike is anxious to talk to Phil alone, but he had to wait until after school. Mike goes through the day not able to get what he saw on the tape out of his mind.
During Mike's lunch period he finally has a chance to tell his two friends, Chrystal and Rayne, about what he saw. He tells them about the light and the transformation, and their jaws drop in awe. Chrystal tells Mike that she had her suspicions about him, and she and Rayne finally tells him what they are, a witch/shape shifter and a mermaid.
Mike just sits there with a suprised look on his face. He finally says, "I dont know how im going to deal with all this, I mean it is all happening too fast."
"I know its a lot to take in right now." Chrystal says.
"Yea Mike you'll get used to it in time. We are here to help you." replies Rayne.
"Thanks guys" Mike says with a smile. "Now I have to talk to Mr. Phil after school..."
"Good luck." says Chrystal
"Thanks." he said, and with that the bell rings for them to go to their classes and the three of them go their separate ways.
After school's over, Mike goes to Phil's class room alone to talk to him about what he saw. On his way over there he plans on what to say to him. Should he say "Hey you were right" or "What do I do now?" he just didn't know.....
