As we made our landing, I looked around and didn't recognize anything in our surroundings.  We had gone from the concrete jungle of Brooklyn to an actual jungle in a matter of seconds.

I began to pull away from Jon as soon as I felt my body pull itself back together.

"Let go of me!  I don't know what you did or where we are right now but I'm going home!"  I exclaimed as I tried to yank my arm from his iron grip.

"And how do you plain on doing that?  Have you not noticed that we are nowhere near civilization?  Or that NOTHING looks like what you're used to?"

I took a moment to look around me and it dawned on me that nothing looked right.  The colors were off, the smell to sweet, and the air to heavy.  The biggest shock came when I looked skyward and found a low, purple sky staring back at me.

"Where am I?  Where have to stolen me away to?" I demanded of him immediately.

"Zylon.  Welcome home," he said with a very blase look on his face.

"This isn't my home!  You take me back!" I demanded. "Take me to my real home!  I just want to go home!"  I began to feel like a lost little kid as he stared me down while I had a temper tantrum in the middle of this jungle.

"That never was your home and you know that better than anyone.  Did you ever feel out of place with your friends or just around the neighborhood?  You felt like you were lost, right?  Like you belonger somewhere far away?"

"Maybe... Yes... Everyday," I said with a forlorn look on my face. "But how would you know something like that?"

"I've been watching you, my dear, and I notice everything.  You put on a facade for everyone else so the won't see the longing that you feel deep inside. You hid your powers from everyone, including your parents.  Well you did until I stepped into the picture.  Do you remember whe I first appeared on your doorstep?"

"Yes, of course.  Why?"

"The reason I was so flustered was because of the information my queen had just given me.  He told me your story.  She told me who your father truly was.  She told me of the future that was planned for us.  I had to be the one to tell your father that he was going to lose his daughter, that he was going to lose the thing that was dearest to him."

"What do you mean my story?"

"It is not for me to tell.  The queen will explain everything when you see her later."

"I'm going to meet a queen?  Looking like this?"  He had pulled me out of my house without any warning so I was still in my pjs.  Luckily my make up was done and my hair presentable.

"If we don't hurry up, then yes.  So, I suggest we hurry up so we aren't late for your first ball."

"Ball?  I'm not going to a ball.  Especially not looking like this."

"If we can get on our way right now, I have a surprise for you when we get to the palace.  But we have to go right now."

"Fine, let's go."
