It doesn't look good.

Those words wouldn't leave my head.

Sam stuttered, "S-Sir, what happened?"

The officer explained that there was a collision with a drunk driver. He hit them head on.

By this time all of my brothers were gathered around the door.

Michael picked me up.

Officer Tony (I read his name tag) looked sadly at all of us, with his eyes lingering on me.

"Do y'all have anyone you can call?" He asked us.

Sam said, "No, Sir. But we'll be okay here. What hospital are they at?"

After telling us the name, Officer Tony took one more look at us before tipping his hat and leaving; shutting the door behind him.

My eyes watered, but I willed myself not to cry.

Michael squeezed me tighter when I sniffled.

He brought me upstairs to my bed.

I can't believe he thought I could sleep.

I laid down, and wished that this would all go away.

I cried myself to sleep.

The next morning

I work up to someone gently shaking me.

I look up to see Cance.

"We're gonna go visit Mom and Dad."

I nod and get out of bed to get dressed.

Cance leaves and shuts the door behind him.

I get up and put on some skinny jeans and a green t shirt that says "I love basketball".

I grab my sneakers.

Once I'm downstairs, Sam nods at my shoes.

I shrug, "Ill put them on in the car."

Sam rolls his eyes and picks me up.

When we get to the car, he sets me down in the back seat and Blake and Jackson sit down next to me.

I curl up into a ball and try to sleep.

When we pulled into the hospital, Blake poked me.

I glare at him and get out if the car.

Jackson ran and claimed to get stuck in the revolving door... I could tell he was trying to make this easier.

I smiled a little.

Sam walked up to the front desk.

"Room 207, for Tyler and Ashley Tyson."

The Secretary squinted at us.

"Are you related to them?"

"Yes, ma'am. They're our parents."

She immediately softened up and let us go up.

When we walked in, everything was so quiet.

All you could hear was the beeping of machines. It was scary.

But the scariest thing?

That was my parents lying there, seemingly dead.

Terrifying.

But then, my Mom opened her eyes.

"Kids!" She said softly. "Hey!"

There's was a chorus of "Hey's" And "How are you feeling?"

"Better. I'm awake at least."

"What about Dad?" Asked Cance.

"He's fine. Just sleeping."

Relief flooded over me, and I had the sudden urge to sleep. Sleep didn't come easily last night. I barely slept.

Sam looked at me.

"Jor, you look exhausted."

I nod, too tired to say anything.

Just them the nurse in and scurried us out so she could do some tests.

Sam picked me up.

I put my head on his shoulder, and relaxed in his arms.

Sorry for the disappointing chapter! At least their parents are okay! A longer and (hopefully) better chapter next week! Please please please vote and comment!
