The Bad Boy and Me

Chapter 24- Fight

Both guys glared at each other. They just stood there and glared at each other. Are they going to do this all the time? I don't think they know the bell went off.

Any moment now.

Aiden was the first to throw a punch. He punched the other guy in the jaw, which made him stumble a little and spit out blood.

I don't know why, but I screamed. This is too much violence for me. I'm guessing Aiden heard me because he looked around until we made eye contact. For a moment I forgot how to breath. He told me to leave and saw me leaving, but here I am.

His opponent took this time and hit him in the stomach. From the looks of it, Aiden hunched over grabbing his stomach with both hands and got the wind knocked out of him.

My eyes went over to his opponent and he had a devilish smirk on his face. He took this opportunity and brought his knee up to Aiden's face, which caused Aiden to stumble backwards. As he did that, he wiped blood that was coming out of his nose and from his lip. This is when the crowd became anxious for Aiden's next move.

I didn't even realize that I am holding on to Josh's arm for dear life. My eyes are glued on to the scene unfolding in front of me. My vision seemed to get blurry by every second that went by. I'm scared for what might happen to Aiden. From what I have concluded this has never happened to Aiden.

My eyes are glued to Aiden and suddenly he turned his head and we made eye contact, again. For then first time I seen something within him unleash as if he was embracing his own demons that are hunting him.

What happened next took everyone by storm. People expected Aiden to get weaker, but whatever unleashed inside of him made him stronger.

He moved to Zeus, went down and moved his leg behind his opponents legs which caused Zeus to fall down and Aiden took the opportunity to pick him up and body slammed him to the ground. Zeus was out of breath, but got up with determination, but stumbled backwards when Aiden punched him in the nose, breaking it in the process. From the looks of it things were going to end bad and because Aiden was punching him repeatedly in the face even though Zeus body was unconsciously laying on the ground.

Aiden couldn't stop so Josh was the brave soul to get in and push Aiden off of Zeus. The bell indicating the fight the was done and Aiden had won.

Relief washed over me. Yes! Aiden won the fight and he isn't hurt really bad. Some guy came up to Aiden and gave him more money. He took it and walked off the circle as two guys carried Zeus unconscious body away. Josh followed Aiden and left me standing here. Even though I am surrounded by a lot of people I still feel alone.

I took that as my cue and left. If I can get anyway from Aiden, you best expect me to be long gone. Right now I don't feel like dealing with a mad Aiden.

Plus, if he asked me why I stayed I can play dumb and tell him I wasn't there and he is seeing things. I just want to be away from him.

Finally back to my safe town or street. Whatever, but I feel safer here. I parked in my driveway and stayed out for a bit. Looking left and right I saw no unknown cars so I'm good. I'm checking to see anyone followed me home.

My dad's car is here, so I'm going to take the wild guess that he is here. Good. If anyone tries to kill me, they have to go through my dad's 6'4 built body.
