I thought I'd found a real home. But this one was just like the others. But this one was worse.
I closed my eyes and leaned against the cold hard wall. Pepper trotted up to me and nuzzled my cheek. She whined at my pale, sharp cheek bones. I hadn't had a decent meal in forever.
A week. That was the last time I'd seen a human. I hadn't seen a kind human in years.
My foster parents had adopted me when I was 7 cause they couldn't have their own kids. Now that I'm almost 16 they tried to have their own, and when they got pregnant, they told me they didn't want me, and when I wouldn't except it, Clayson, the father, got angry and locked me up down here, right under the baby's room floor. I had to listen to each heart felt word meant for their baby. It made me angry and sick that they would kick me down here, feeding me the scraps of their dinners.
If I got out I would avenge the suffering they put me and Pepper through. I would make them pay.
I looked Pepper in the eye and saw concern along with hunger and suffering. "I'm sorry, girl," I whispered, " I didn't think that Clayson was being serious." A tear spilt over. "Its all my fault." I wrapped my arms around her and sobbed into her dirty matted fur.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Pepper." I sat there repeating the same words over and over until I finally drifted to sleep.Hey guys I hoped you liked this first chapter it's short but I'm working on getting longer ones. Promise. This is my first story and I'm super excited to get it out for you guys.
