"What are you talking about? That doesn't make any sense!" Cherikia shouted at her father. As he opened his mouth to speak the Government alarm went off, wailing and screaming at them. That's the worst noise I've ever heard, Cherikia thought to herself. "What is it?" She asked her father.

"Intruder. I think." He replied.

"But I thought all citizens were welcome to the Scroggin Government any time." Her father considered her statement and then answered grimly, "Not since the rebellion." Cherikia frowned as some Chocolate pieces guards walked into the room and ushered them out. "Where are we going?" Cherikia asked. "Security protocol." Her father answered. They were taken through many long, dark hallways and down long sets of stairs. At the end of a hallway they met a large group of Glanoth's coworkers and he went off to talk to them, telling Cherikia to stay out of the way. The guards also turned their backs to Cherikia, allowing her an easy escape. She trudged down another dark hallway, all the walking and situations finally getting to her emotions and she realised how hungry and tired she was. She began mindlessly walking, not paying attention to where her feet stepped in the shadows. Evidently her foot caught a loose part of the carpet and she fell flat on her face, lying groaning on the ground. Suddenly Cherikia heard a little squeal and turned to the shadows, her eyes slowly adjusting. "Hello?" She asked.

"Help." A voice answered.
