"So annoying." Sasuke groaned. Sakura sat in the corner sulking not caring about her question.

"Right then. Let's get back to the video." Hagaromo said allowing everyone to settle in their seats.

"That's not it." Shikamaru corrected.

"You're joking. Why would I go out with such a...there's a chunin exam soon. I'm just going back and forth between the sand and the leaf for meetings." Temari explained.

"Aw look. Even then Temari liked Shikamaru. She couldn't even finish insulting him." Ino said causing a certain sand kunoichi to send her a death glare. 'One minute she's yelling at me, the next she's saying how cute I look with Shikamaru. Although she's right. Do I really end up falling for that guy? He was okay in the chunin exams I'll admit, but what's so special about him?' Temari thought, questioning herself.

"And it's troublesome, but I've become an examiner, so... I was told to go and see off the messengers from the sand." Shikamaru said. He went on to explain how Naruto was the only one in their class that hadn't made chunin and that Neji, Kankuro, and Temari were jonin.

The video faded once again, a sign that the video was over.

"Now before I play the next video I would like to take the time to explain some things and give a word of caution to everyone." Hagaromo said forcing some to show a look of worry. "In the next video, team Asuma and several other shinobi partake in a mission to find and bring down two members of the Akatsuki." Knowing the mission he was talking about, Mirai saddened. This not going unnoticed by Asuma and Kurenai who looked at their daughter in question.

"Sir! Who are the Akatsuki?" Lee asked.

"The Akatsuki is an organization comprised of S-ranked shinobi. They are all missing nin from different hidden villages. Their current mission at the time was to collect all nine of the tailed beasts for their own evil plans." Hagaromo explained.

"Doesn't Naruto-kun hold a tailed beast? What would happen if they took it?" Hinata asked.

"Ah I'm glad you asked. Once a tailed beast is removed from the host, the host unfortunately dies. He can not survive." Hinata gasped. "But don't worry, that never happens to Naruto." Hagaromo said. The hyuga visibly sighed and Naruto gave her a thumbs up, cheering up the girl.

"Now to finish with my word of caution. Unfortunately someone does not make it out of this mission. I thought it would only be fair to warn you...."

"S-someone dies!?" Naruto yelled. "What kind of warning is that? Why does someone have to die!?" He angrily shouted at Hagaromo.

"Naruto settle down. As much as we all hate it these things happen. Don't forget Hagaromo said these shinobi are S ranked. It's a wonder why no one else died. Remember, this moment is important to Shikamaru. We should respect that." Kakashi scolded.

"Yeah, I guess you're right..." Naruto said.

'Damn. What a drag. It must be a shinobi close to me, but I know it's not Choji, and Ino. They both have kids in the future.' Shikamaru thought. Asuma was having the same thought.

'Neither Choji, Ino, and Shikamaru die. Could... Could it be me? What about Mirai. I don't think she's been born yet. It can't be me.'

"Now let the movie begin." Hagaromo said.

Hidan stood outside of the collection office waiting for his partner, Kakazu. Asuma appeared from behind Hidan and threw a couple shuriken at him. Hidan unleashed his scythe, blocking all the shuriken. He went ahead and threw it toward Asuma, but the Sarutobi dodged.
