Damn It Barry, Not again...

Note: SURPRISE! Bet you didn't expect this. Don't get too excited don't expect much more. I got such great feedback from everyone. I was reading your comments which got me reading my story again and I got inspired to write this chapter. I can't guarantee that I will write much more but I can say that I wrote this FOR YOU GUYS! So please I beg you, comment, comment, comment! You guys keep me going.

Now about this chapter. I've given the story a bit of a plot. There is a reason why the gang is watching the future. To fix things. Yes, I've watched The Flash before, I know the consequences. I tried to include that in this chapter, but also changed the timeline for the better. I really tried to think through a sequence of events like, ok if this didn't happen then this wouldn't and so on. I also tried to include similar scenarios from the original timeline and put them in as cameos for the new timeline. DON'T GO ANYWHERE!! The gang will still be watching the original future timeline.

Splash. The sound of sandals hitting water echoed throughout the forest. The sun beat down on the mop of blonde hair that rushed across the river and into the tree tops. Naruto wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and pushed off, branch to branch he soared through the greens of the woods.

"Naruto slow down." Jiraiya yelled, forcing himself to catch up with his pupil.

"No can do Pervy Sage. Old man's message was important. He said to be there asap!" Naruto said.

"He didn't say asap and you know it. Besides it didn't sound urgent to me. If it had, I'm sure I would know." Jiraiya attempted to explain, hoping to get the young boy to slow down.

"Of course it's important. I have a gut feeling he's back and if that's true then it's important because it'll be about me."

Jiraiya rolled his eyes. Ever since Hagoromo had appeared at the chunin exams three years ago, Naruto had jumped at every lead that could mean the Sage was coming back. This has lead the Toad Sage to his current annoyance. The former third Hokage had sent the two a message while they were finishing up training. Something about needing to return to Konoha.

In the three years since the chunin exams, a lot had changed. Although, not in anyway as to stray so far from the original timeline.

When they got back to their time, the three sound ninja were nowhere to be found. Kabuto's remaining team member was found and interrogated. He revealed Orochimaru's plans for the last round of the chunin exams. Of course the Snake wouldn't run his mouth to anyone so, the plan wasn't very detailed, but needless to say the exams continued and everyone was much more prepared for what was to come.
