Ian Holden's P.O.V.
I walked down the yellow hallways slowly. I shoved my hands in the pockets of my black trench coat as I hummed a tune under my breath. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of coughing and...someone vomiting?
My slow walk turned into a run as I searched for the source of the person in pain. And that's exactly what I found.
A doctor, Katrielle, was slid down the wall. She looked weak and faint and blood covered her mouth, hands and was splattered on the walls and floor.
I rushed up to her and examined the scene. There were no external wounds, so she must have vomited up the blood. I knelt down and felt her pulse. Her heart was still beating but it was slow. Far too slow.
"Someone get me a doctor!" I yelled down the empty halls. "Anyone! Please! There's a girl that's unconscious! Someone please help!"
Panic was settling into my veins. Whatever this was reminded me too much of teh disease that killed my wife and daughter.
"Oh gosh. Please just hold on until a doctor comes." I whispered, clutching the girl's wrist in my hands. Her pulse was fading quickly and I was beginning to worry even more.
"Oh my! What happened here!?" Emma, a young nurse exclaimed as she rushed down the hallway. "Is that....Oh! Not Kat! What happened?"
Her eyes were filled with worry as she bent down and checked her pulse on her neck. I looked up at the nurse and explained to her everything as best as I could. She nodded and stood up.
"I'm getting a doctor. Can you please carry her to the O.R.?" Emma said before rushing off again down the hall.
CR-S01's P.O.V.
I stare into the darkness as I lay on my bed silently. I replayed the operation from a few days ago over in my head again and again. I just couldn't figure out why the woman's lungs started hemorrhaging again, after I had seen with my own eyes that she had no more blood pools or tumors.
What could have gone wrong? Am I losing my skills as a surgeon?
Thoughts clouded my head and I was beginning to get a migraine from all the stress. When my door burst open, light flooded my room and I shot up in bed in alarm.
"Doctor!" Emma cried, looking frantic. "It's....Kat. S-she was vommiting blood and is in urgent condition! We need you to operate on her, please!" Before Emma could continue I was pulling on my doctor's coat and taking long strides out of my room.
As I continued to speed down the bright, yellow halls, I vowed that whatever happened to her, whatever condition she's in, I will not let another patient be harmed.

Thanks so much for being so patient lately. (Pun intended. ...Get it? Patient, like a patient in a doctor's office! ...never mind.)
