'No! This is a dream! Jaxon is NOT outside the house right now. I'm gonna pinch myself, close my eyes and then I'll wake up and it'll all be ok' I told myself frantically. I closed my eyes and pinched my arm hard. "Ow" I mumbled quietly as I opened my eyes. I glanced out the window. He was still there. I sneakily ninja rolled over to Ally's bed. "Psst. Ally, wake up!" I shouted in a whisper. "5 more minutes" she groaned. "Ally, its important! Like CRITICAL! This could endanger OUR lives AND our daughters' lives" I shook her. At that, she jolted upright in her bed, holding Gracie close to her body. "Mel, wake up" I said. "What?!" She sat straight up. "Jaxon's here. He's outside of the window" I told her. "WHAT?!" Mel screamed. "SHUT UP! HE'LL HEAR US!" I shushed her. "Oh girls. i know you're in there" Jaxon said creepily outside of the window. "Quick, we gotta hide ourselves AND the girls" Ally said, frantically picking her little girl up and running quietly and sneakily to the closet. "Don't hide in the same places. He'll find us easier" I said. "Mel, go get Riley and get her to hide, I'll get Lacie and hide her" I said, scooping Lacie and Rosie up. I dashed out of the room, looking for places to hide Lacie. I found a small storage room with a closet inside. "Lacie, listen to me baby, you have to go into that closet and hide yourself as best you can, don't make a sound and don't move ok? don't come out until mommy, me, Ally, or Riley comes to get you, do you understand?" I instructed frantically. "Ok" Lacie said scared. "Good girl, now come on, get in there" I said, practically pushing her into the closet. I told her to lay down and then I covered her with blankets so it didn't look like anyone was in there. I closed the closet door and ran with Rosie, trying to find a spot to hide her. We ran into Gracie, who was trying to hide. "Come here, I'll help you hide" I said, grabbing her hand. I put Gracie into an almost empty toy chest with some stuffed animals and blankets in there. I covered her up with stuffed animals and blankets and told her not to move. I shut the lid on it and ran with Rosie. "Ok, Rosie, baby, hide in here. I promise I'll come get you ok baby? I love you angel" I hugged and kissed her. "I love you too mommy" she hugged and kissed me back. "I know baby girl. Now, get in here. I'm gonna cover you up with a bunch of stuff so it doesn't look like you're in there. You can't move in there and don't leave until I come get you. And be extremely quiet ok?" I told her, lifting her into a big cupboard. "Ok mommy" she responded, curling up into the back of the cupboard. I put some large cups that were in the other cupboard in front of Rosie so nobody could see her. I closed the cupboard door, making sure it was closed all the way. Once I knew it was secure, I bolted, trying to find a hiding spot. I went into the pantry and hid behind the freezer and piled packages of toilet paper and boxes in front of me. I crouched down, listening for any signs of Jaxon. I heard his boots thud against the wood floor upstairs- right above my head.
