Ally slowly opened the door and we all gasped at what we saw. A young girl (about 12 years old) sprawled on the floor, eyes wide in fear, mouth opened as if silently screaming for help. "Is it her?" I asked quietly, knowing that it could be my little sister, Riley. "Ummm... let me see..." Emily said as she took a closer look at the girl. She breathed out a sigh of relief. "No. It's not Riley." "Oh thank God" I sobbed a sob of happiness. Ally hugged me because she knew I was freaking out before. Ally is my absolute BEST friend EVER. We kept walking until we found a room that looked like it wasn't supposed to be found. Caitlin tried the door and not to our surprise, it was locked. "WAIT! I have a bobby pin and I know how to pick locks!" Ally screamed, making all of us nearly jump out of our pants. She picked the lock and the door gave way. I could never unsee what I saw in that room. Girls- so. many. girls! All around 12-16 years old. I searched the room frantically to see if one of the dead girls was Riley. Thankfully, none of them were.We headed upstairs to look for Riley and we heard something. It sounded like a muffled scream. Before I could think, I bolted up to where the sound came from (which was a secret room in the attic). "NATALIE WAIT!" I heard Ally yell from somewhere behind me, but I didn't stop- I COULDN'T stop. I opened the door to the secret room in the attic and I stopped dead in my tracks. The girl who was laying halfway dead on the floor, staring up at me with terror in her eyes was Riley.
