I shut my eyes tight and drew in a shaky breath. Did he really find someone? Or was he just saying that to scare us? I didn't know. I didn't hear anyone scream. I didn't hear anything. I relaxed. I was positive now that Jaxon didn't find anyone. He thought if he acted if he caught someone, we would all run out and he would catch us. Or worse. I shuddered at that thought. I hugged my knees tight to my chest. Suddenly I heard loud footsteps coming down to the basement. "Oh no. No no no" I thought scared to myself. I was in the basement. Rosie was in the basement. "Noooo. Please no. Don't find Rosie. Don't find me" I thought. I saw the light flick on in the room I was hiding in. "NO! CRAP!" I almost screamed. "Hm. I feel like someone is in here... Hmmm" Jaxon said teasingly, walking closer to my hiding place. NO! "Hello Natalie" he pulled everything blocking his way from me. "Uh... I... Um..." I stuttered. Jaxon cocked his head and grabbed me by my arm. "NOOOO! HELP ME!!!" I screamed. "SHUT UP!" He screamed angrily. "NEVERRRRR! I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!" I yelped loudly. The reason my parents didn't come running was because they were on vacation. Without us. I know. Nice. "ALLY, MEL, RILEYYYYYYY! HELPPPPPPPPPPP!" I screamed. "Oh my GOD! SHUT THE FRICK UP!" Jaxon yelled, bringing something out of his pocket. I felt something hit the back of my head hard and my vision swirled into black nothingness. I felt myself go limp. I heard yelling around me, but I couldn't see anything. I felt myself being shoved in a car. It was like I was aware of everything, but couldn't see or move. I heard a loud, high, shrill scream from inside. It seemed I was waking up. I sat up and saw nothing. WAS I IN THE TRUNK?! I kicked at the trunk door. I was getting claustrophobic. I heard the car door close. And then the trunk opened. I felt cold air rush over my skin. "Well, I didn't hit you hard enough did I? Hm. I'll fix that" Jaxon said. I couldn't see him well because it was JUST NOW getting light out. "No, don't hit me agai-" I was cut off by being hit harder. Again, everything swirled into black nothingness, but this time I couldn't hear anything or feel anything. I was REALLY deeply knocked out.
