Chapter ten. ~ Alphys

It was quite a peaceful walk, what you assumed were birds were chirping brightly amongst each other as the three of you walked through the forests of Snowdin. It was dead quiet as you made your way to visit Alphy, alpha? Oh I can't remember. "Hey kiddo, you into science?" Sans questioned randomly, you looked at him weirdly "err, why?" You asked, tilting your head slightly, "Oh, well Alphys lives in a lab," he explained with a shrug then you made an 'o' shape with your mouth and nodded in understanding. The cold air seemed to grow warmer as you walked, causing you to take (Y/C) jacket off and tie it around your waste, and rolling up your sleeves. The environment turned from a snowy forest into a scorched cave in mere seconds, you looked around, fascinated. "Almost there Kiddo," Sans informed, turning his head and grinning at you, causing your face to heat up slightly, wait.. Why were you blushing? Soon enough Sans and Papyrus stopped, and you, lost in your thoughts bumped into Sans causing him to stumble slightly and turn to catch you as you almost fell over, you both blushed and he helped you back up "you alright (Y/N)?" He asked, not knowing what to say you just nodded, he blushed and rubbed the nape of his neck. Soon enough you looked up and came into view with what looked like a huge white lab, you whistled "Nice," you commented and Papyrus smiled and banged on the door enthusiastically, after a moment rustling was heard and something clatter to the floor and a small voice yelling "Sorry, coming," quietly and gently and the door opened to reveal a short yellow, dinosaur? She was wearing round glasses and a lab coat and looked up at Sans and Papurus and seemed to just notice you, she jumped a little as she did. "ALPHYS! MEET OUR NEW FRIEND (Y/N)!" Papyrus boomed, doing jazz hands at you, Alphys smiled nervously and pushed her glasses up with her finger/claw and held out her hand to you "H-hi (Y/N) I'm Alphys, nice to meet you," she said quietly with a tinge of nervousness again, you smiled gently and took her scaly hand "Nice to meet you," you introduced trying to use the same tone and her smile became more genuine. "Well, come in," she offered holding the door open for all of you.
