I had just gottem out of the shower,  my hair was still wet and stuck to my skin, damp.
I wrapped the towel around my body before walking out of the bathroom into my room. I made my way over to the drawers and grabbed out panties and a bra, I the sudden feeling I was being watched and it was a feeling I knew all too well, the shiver ran down my spine and I looked around the room before changing.

You're crazy, Luna.. I told myself.

Today was Friday, but Days seemed to kind of melt together and I hadn't seen or heard from Griffin. I hate to say it..but I think I miss him. He's charming, besides the fact he almost killed me.

Joel would probably be here any minute. I wondered what he was like, seems like a good guy.
I finished getting dressed and I waited for 8:00pm.

There was a knock on the door and I looked at the time. Well he's early.
I opened the door with a smile on my face expecting to see Joel.

The smile slowly faded and my heart thumped erratically in my chest as Griffin stared back at me. He didn't look happy.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked sternly, he looked right into my eyes and I felt small.

"Watching tv?.." he started chuckling and he invited himself in, I was now scared. I slowly closed the door. "I'm dead fucking serious, Luna" he suddenly wasn't laughing which scared me more.

"What are you even talking ab-"

"Detective Campbell" he snapped causing me to flinch. "You don't own me.."

I really need to stop talking..

"What was that?" He straightened up his posture and faced me completely making me feel intimidated. "Um.." I hesitated. The look on my face made me realize he loved making me feel weak, and small.

"I said you. Don't. Own. Me" I looked him in the eyes. On the inside I was scared shitless as to what he would do. We stood there for a few seconds till he finally walked towards me.

I wanted to run but my legs wouldn't move. He left hardly any space between us and he grabbed the sides of my face with his gloved hands.

"But I would love to.." he said quietly.

I moved his hands and took a step back. "Your charm doesn't work" I lied.

"Is that what you think?! Do you seriously think that?" I struck a nerve. "You trust a shithead like Joel, over me?"

"He didn't try to kill me!" I shot back. He started grinning, his dark eyes managed to look darker.

He slowly walked past me and put a gloved hand onto the door knob. "Ohh, Luna." He shook his head then looked at me as I stared back. "You'll see things my way.." he whispered while pointing to his head. He chuckled and walked out my door and I stood there frozen.

What does he mean by that?

The door knocked a half hour later and I stared at the door. I hesitantly opened the door but sighed of relief when I saw Joel standing there. "Oh, hi Detective.."

"Just call me Joel" he smiled at me and I mentally face palmed. "Oh. Uh..right sorry Joel" I nervously chuckled.

"You alright?..you seem a little..jumpy." He eyed me a little suspiciously. "Just a little nervous" I gave him a smile and he seemed to buy it when he smiled back.

"Shall we?" He said. I nodded and grabbed my jacket. "We shall" I walked with him towards his car. "I hope you love Vietnamese."

Later~

I loved Vietnamese but this restaurant had really bad tasting food and I didn't see why he seemed to like it so much. But I was hungry and I was also happy to get to know him. He seemed to take a big interest in me and not in some bi polar, psycho type of way.

"So what are your interests, Luna?" He sipped his drink then looked at me. "I really enjoy art, honestly. I've taken art classes and it's something I like to do in my spare time."

He smiled at me as I spoke. "That's good, I'd like to see your art sometime" he said. Before I could say anything he coughed and I saw some type of wire hooked to the inside of his jacket.

He recovered. "You alright?" I asked. He gave a nod and sighed. "Sorry about that."

"Anyway, I bet you are as good of an artist as you are a coffee maker." He winked at me and I felt my face heat up.

I looked at the restaurant window behind him and saw someone standing across the street, looking right at me.

I don't know how long Griffin had been standing there but I got a little worried.

"Is there something the matter?" My attention was pulled from Griffin and I looked at him. "Sorry, no" I smiled at him and chuckled.

He looked behind him to see what I was looking at and Griffin was no longer there.

"Is there something you aren't telling me?" He looked into my eyes. I shook my head no. "I space out sometimes I'm sorry"

The rest of dinner went well after that and I almost forgot about Griffin as me and Joel shared childhood stories and laughed at jokes we had made.

Later on he drove me back to my place and he got out and opened the car door for me. "Thank you" I stepped out and he shut it behind me before walking with me to my door.

"I had an awesome time and thank you" I smiled at him. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek but he grabbed my face and kissed me. My face became redder than a tomato and he smiled.

"Sorry..I hope that wasn't too forward.." he mumbled. I shook my head and smiled then kissed him back. "Goodnight" he said.

"Goodnight, Joel" I walked inside and closed the door, smiling like an idiot. Finally I feel happy.

Joel'sPov~

I got in my car and I spoke into the wire. "I did it. I think she knows something we don't. Give me some more time with her and I'll find out what she's hiding that leads us closer to Griffin."

I sighed and shook my head.
