Ezio x reader

A/N: This takes place**Spoiler** before Petruccio, Giovanni and Federico are executed. Also, I decided to use some Italian in this, so translations are at the bottom if you need them :)

You had been best friends with Ezio, Federico and Claudia Auditore since you were young, and you were very close to the Auditore family. After your parents were found dead a few years ago, the family did everything they could to help you. You lived with your brother (Y/B/N), but he was never at home during the day, and sometimes worked out of Firenze so your time was mainly spent with the Auditore family.

"(Y/N)!" Federico cheered as you walked into the Palazzo Auditore. "Ciao Federico" You greeted as you embraced him into a hug "Where is Ezio?" you asked Federico. "Mother and Claudia needed his help carrying items around the market, we can go find your vero amore if you want to" Federico replied with an evil smirk "Fottiti Federico!" you retorted. Federico found out that you liked Ezio when you were talking to Claudia about it, and while Claudia was supportive and actually tried to help you, Federico would take any chance he got to make a remark or make fun of you. But Federico and Claudia secretly knew that Ezio liked you back, but they never said anything to either of you. "Come on we'll go find him and we can all go climbing together" he said laughing at your reaction to his statement. You rolled your eyes and followed him out onto he streets. 

The streets were extremely crowded so you and Federico made the journey quicker and took the rooftops. Spending a lot of time with Ezio and Federico meant that they had taught you how to climb and free run across buildings, and you never wore dresses so you were always prepared for climbing. Federico led the way to the market, with you trailing just behind. As you both approached the market square you stopped at the edge of the rooftop and started scanning the crowded area for Maria, Claudia and Ezio. Federico spotted them first, they were at the other side of the square. You both made your way across the rooftops towards Ezio's location and climbed down to the ground. Federico waltzed over to his mother, sister and brother with you following close behind. You looked over to Ezio who was looking at the ground, oblivious to you and his brother being there "Federico, (Y/N), what are you doing here?" Maria asked. Ezio lifted his head as soon as he heard your names and looked at you. You made eye contact with him and smiled sweetly, Ezio smiling back in reply. "Well mother, we were hoping you could maybe dismiss Ezio so that he can be with us" Federico said in a pleading tone. Maria sighed and looked between the brothers, both of them wearing a hopeful expression "Fine, but essere attenti, all of you, oh, and stay out of trouble" Maria reluctantly said. You all nodded in agreement and ran down a quiet alleyway nearby, then stopped when you got to a less crowded open area. "Thank you both, I was bored out of my mind following them around the market" Ezio said with a sigh. "It's okay Ezio, now, who is up for a little race to the top of that tower?" you said playfully pointing at the tower at the back of the church you were near, they both smiled and chorused "challenge accepted". 

You all lined up ready and you counted in "dopo tre, uno, due, tre" and with that you all sprinted towards the church and started scaling it. Ezio reached the tower first, and was way ahead of you and Federico, he was so competitive. When you reached the final part of the tower Ezio was already stood at the top. He offered you a hand and pulled you up to the roof, Federico following behind. You sat on the roof of the tower and looked over the city, the sun was starting to set and it looked beautiful. Ezio joined you and sat to your left, also taking in the view of Florence. "Well I should be going, it's getting late" Federico said to you and Ezio, "Going to see Caterina again?" Ezio teased without taking his eyes off of the sunset, "Wha- no, no!" Federico stuttered, causing you and Ezio to laugh. You turned to look at Federico and he gave you a wink, you rolled your eyes and turned back to the view, and with that, Federico left you and Ezio alone.

"Firenze has never looked so beautiful" you stated, resting your head on Ezio's shoulder. He looked down at you and smiled softly, wrapping his arm around your waist, and pulling you closer to him. "(Y/N), can I tell you something?" Ezio asked, eyes still locked on the view. "Of course you can Ezio" You lifted your head from his shoulder and turned to look at him, your (Y/E/C) eyes getting lost in his brown ones. Ezio took a deep breath, "fottere, where do I start, i've been trying to tell you this for the past 2 years, and i've just never been able to, and I don't know why, i've known you for such a long time and I love being around you and I..." you knew what he was trying to say, so you cut him off with a kiss. It shocked him at first, but he started to kiss back, bringing his hands up to cup your face. You both pulled away looking into each others eyes lovingly. You shifted back into your previous position, resting your head back on Ezio's shoulder, looking out over the view, his arm back around your waist. You felt Ezio move his head to rest on top of yours as he whispered to you "ti amo così tanto, la mia bella".
