Edward x reader

"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND DON'T COME BACK (Y/N)" your father shouted at you, filled with rage. You stayed as calm as possible throughout the entire situation. "You can try to tear us apart but know that we'll wear our scars" You replied in a soft tone, and with that, you left without looking back.

You walked towards the beach of Nassau, blinded with tears. Your parents had found out about your relationship with Edward. They had never approved of Edward because of him being a pirate, but you loved him no matter what. You had always kept it a secret, you both agreed it was for the best. It went well for 2 years until your father opened one of your letters, and that's when an argument started.

You got to the beach and sat under a tree, leaning against the trunk. You looked out over the beautiful ocean, bringing your tears to a halt. There were only two things that truly calmed you down, the ocean, and Edward. You were still sat admiring the sparkling water after an hour, until you were pulled out of your trance by somebody standing over you. You looked up to the figure, squinting past the sun, to realise it was Edward. You jumped straight up from your position and wrapped your arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug that you needed. You pulled away from the hug and your sad eyes met his. "What's wrong lass, you seem upset" Edward asked, his voice filled with worry. You looked down as you felt tears threatening to fall. You felt a hand bring up your chin to meet your eyes with his again. "(Y/N)?" Edward said, his voice more stern this time. You took a deep breath. "My father found out about our relationship. He kicked me out." you admitted. You saw Edward's eyes fill with anger more after every word. "What the fuck?! how dare he do that, i'm going ove-" you cut off his anger with a quick soft kiss. "Edward don't worry about it, we're free now" you calmed him down before he could do anything stupid. Before you had time to say anything else, you were picked up bridal style and you were being carried towards the Jackdaw. "In that case, you can finally come with me, on the Jackdaw" You smiled widely at Edward's words, it was all that you had ever wanted. "Edward are you sure? I don't want to get in the wa-" you were cut off by another kiss, this time not so soft. "I want nothing more than for you to come aboard. I can't bear to leave you again" Edward carried you the rest of the way, then put you down in front of the ship. He stood next to you, wrapping his arm around your waist, looking at the Jackdaw. "Welcome to your new life lass, with me"

A/N: this is short but I haven't updated in a while so I tried. I didn't really have any ideas tbh. Also, if anyone got the song reference I used, you are now my best friend, k?

+ I was thinking about maybe writing a full story, as well as these one shots but idek. If I did write a fanfic, it would be either Jacob, Shay or Ezio. I was also thinking I could maybe do a Geralt of Rivia fanfic because i'm in love with The Witcher 3 rn. 

+++++ I know, i've done 2 Edward oneshots in a row I HAD NO IDEAS. Next one will be either Altair or Ezio. Kinda been struggling to get ideas for Altair but i'll get there eventually :)
