A/N: Hai der. So, I uploaded. I think things are beginning to get juicy, well I hope so anywho, and I'm going to be completely honest that I don't really plan this story... like at all. I just sit and write; and hope the computer doesn't crash.Haha, I know I'm a hopeless author, especially in the organisation ends but why not give it a go... Haha
PS: I love you all :D

Chapter 10
As I scan the cafeteria for an empty table my heart jolts when I see Charles, sitting by himself in the back corner. I know my plan was to take over the school, but hey, baby steps. Making one friend will be enough progress for one day. I make my way to the table, one of the smaller and more run-down tables, ignoring stares from onlookers who probably also think I'm new Laughing to myself at that thought I sit down opposite Charles who seems relatively startled and surprised by my visit. He smiles shyly, causing one dimple to appear on his left cheek. I had to physical restrain myself from letting out an 'aw' and it was hard to do so.
"Uh, hi." I say, striking up conversation.
"Hey," his English accent still apparent. This was good cosidering I had begin to wonder if I just imagined that or not...
"Your name is Charles right?"
"Please, call my Charlie. My parents still think we live in the 1800's" He says, shaking his head. Laughing I introduce myself,
"Well hi Charlie. I'm -"
"Georgia, I know. I couldn't forget a name who's owner has such a pretty face."
Blushing intensely, I smile. I am utterly flattered because a, someone knows I exist / remembers my name and b, he called me pretty! Well at least I think he called me pretty. I may be smart inside the classroom but sometimes I struggle with social-smarts. LIke picking subtlies, usually I get alot of the wrong ideas.
"If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you sitting with your friends?" he asks politely. Like a sterotypical English gentleman, or in other words my dream boy. I realise he is indicating towards a table, consisting of Jake, Charlotte, Stella, Bella, Liam - another player thats not in any of my classes, and a whole bunch of unoriginal minions.
"They aren't my friends. Most of them a bunch of cold-hearted players, and some monkeys included." As if on cue Jake and LIam threw food on one another, "Actually, I don't have any friends..." I add quietly. Confusion crosses his face, adorably cute confusion may I add, and he breaks out into a smile. A smile that could literally make someone's day. A smile that could save a life. A smile that could change a life, like mine.
"You're lying."
"I'm not," I insist. What could he mean?
"You are. You have one friend. Thats me."
Dying internally I smile, thank him and return to eating my lunch. Maybe I should just stay here. I have a friend.
My happiness is abruptly smashed, by a familar icy voice come up behind me. "Wow, Georgia. I have to say, I'm surprised. You look better than I imagined." I decide to ignore the subtle insult and just focus on the fact that Charlotte isn't verbally abusing me for once. "Although you didn't match up to me, of course," I more or less imagined Charlotte flipping her hair and it getting caught in a shredder, "you did pretty well."
Hoping this is the end to her little monolouge I'm disapponted to hear her continue.
"However, if you think that all it takes to rule the school is to look,,, er,,,, half decent" the shredder had now worked the way up to her scalp, "I'd be delighted to tell you that it takes brains," which conviently had been the next target of the shredder, "as well as beauty. This school needs a leader that can lead. In more ways than one." I shuddered at her inneundo as I am a very innocent person, at least in the romance area. "Got it?"
"Point taken Charlotte. Thanks for the tip." Looking relatively pleased with herself I continue.
"However," I mock, "I'd kindly like to remind you that I don't care. Good day." I turned around, determined not too look at her again. Its safe to say that my imagination had gotten a little out of hand and gory... to say the least. I hear her stalk away, heels clipping on the ground as I make eye contact with Charlie, amusment in his eyes
"Two questions," he asked, "One, what was that about? And two, were you thinking about a shredder"
"Long story," I sighed, but explained most of it anyway. Including everything from the tutoring to the incident in grade 4...
It was a bright day, and us grade 4's were allowed early to play on the playground. We had a new girl in our class, Charlotte, who had really long blonde hair. She was really pretty and I would be lying if I said I didn't want to be friends with her. While I was hanging upside down on the monkey bars, in my button up shirt and skirt - I had shorts underneath - she cam up to me. With two girls behind her. They thought it would be funny to pull me off the monkey bars, and i fell head first to the ground. Luckily I twisted onto my back, otherwise who knows what damaged might have occured, but I still got winded. Struggling to breath in, my glasses slipped off my face, leaving my world blurry while I sucked in hopeless breaths of oxygen. Laughing she smashed my glasses under her foot, but not before gathering the entire class around. I don't know where the teacher was but it would have been really helpful if she was there as Charlotte kicked me onto my back - again - and said "Welcome to my school, nerd."
"Ever since then, I'd hated her guts and I guess vice versa" I concluded. Grimacing as I brought up those memories, those memories that I buried deep down.
Charlie's eyes were alive with emotion, ranging from pity to pride. "If you don't mind me asking, why didn't you just change schools?"
"Because then she'd won. Then it was game over. And that can't happen can it?" An unrecogniseable glint appeared in his eyes, and I swear we were thinking the same thing. No, no we can not.
"Oh, and how'd you know I was thinking about a shredder?" I quered."Because, look at your salad, its shredded to dust." He chuckled.
