SarahPOV

"Come in. Andre went to work. Do you have it?"

So i have my suspicions of a little bun in the oven. I have done this two times already but I'm so scared if this test were to read positive. I know mike wants a baby. But would he want a baby now is my worry.

"Can i hold Angela?" I blurted.

She gave a confused look.

"Don't you wanna take this first? I would be dying to know." She said.

I shook my head.

She smiled gently and handed Angela to me carefully.

I sat down with the 2 week old infant and smiled at her. I remember doing this with my babies. Cassie was my cutest baby i have to admit. Maybe I'm only saying that because she's my only daughter... But she was beautiful and she might as well have heartbreaker stamped on her forehead.

The thought scared and thrilled me. Maybe having another wouldn't be bad at all. Having a baby with the man i have loved all along. The thought made me excited. I stood up slowly with Angela and set her, now sleeping form, in her crib.

I went to the bathroom and found Marcy, who smiled at me.

"Ready?"

She smiled, taking out the test.

It was pure white and i was nervous.

"Yah.."

I said in a shallow voice.

"Mike will love you either way. Okay?"

She handed it to me and scurried to handle her own baby, who had started to cry and whine for her.

"I hope so.."

I murmured and sat on the toilet.

A short while later...

I sighed, tapping my fingers on the counter as Marcy descended the stairs.

We met in the living room and we sat on the couch.

"Ready to hear?"

Marcy was good at playing cool. Her face was neutral and no sign of the answer i was looking for.

"Yah.."

I said and gulped.

She opened her mouth but i clasped a hand over it as a bundle of nerves jumped at me. She gave me an 'are you kidding me'

I started to ramble as soon as her hand came off my mouth.

"What if Mike doesn't want the baby??" I said.

"Sarah.."

"What if he leaves me like Drake did!!" I stood up.

"Mike would never-"

"And i would love a baby and all but if he doesn't..."

"Positive."

"... Then we may split up again and i don't want to lose him. I love him and i would love the baby i might be havi-"

I had just then realised Marcy had said exactly what i was thrilled and scared about.

"Congratulations Sarah."

She said gently as we hugged.

That evening...

I exhaled as the kids ran circles and i was having trouble making dinner. The smell of chicken cooking was making me want to puke.

"I'm home."

Mike had come through the door and the kids raced to greet him. It was a loving sight. But it didn't help with the nasty smell of chicken and the nausea i was having.

"Hi baby."

He kissed my cheek and got a juice for Cassie that she couldn't reach.

He wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"Smells good."

He said, kissing my shoulder.

That's what you think...

"Thanks. I used some new seasonings."

I said and kept my bile down from the revolting chicken.

"I wasn't talking about the chicken." He muttered, nibbling my ear.

I wanted to tell him to stop because that's how he knocked me up in the first place but i didn't, knowing it was only mood swings and i would tell him after dinner about the baby.

"Hey i have to do something upstairs. Can you take over?" I asked.

He nodded with a smile. The smile quickly changed to concern however.

"Are you feeling okay? You're turning green." He said.

That's because I'm about to puke all over you and that nasty chicken...

"I don't feel well actually. I'm gonna lay down." I said.

"Okay. I love you." He said gently.

I smiled a bit through the nausea.

"I love you too."

I said shakily and quickly made my way upstairs.

A while after that...

I decided to stay upstairs after that. I missed dinner but i was too sick to eat. I held the pregnancy test in my hand under the covers, waiting for Mike to walk in.

Finally the door opened and he smiled at me. I smiled back, getting up.

"Feeling better?" He asked.

I nodded. It was a lie however. My nerves were almost bringing my nausea back.

"Good because i have something to show you." He said.

"Yah me too.."

I said but i don't think he heard me as he closed the door behind him.

At the same time in a split second we had taken out our surprise. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped as did Mike's. In his hand was an open ring box with the perfect sized ring snuggled up in a blanket that said marry me.
