I stand at my window, a cool breeze fluttering the drapes. The world outside is silent, peaceful... and soon I will be its ruler.

I know I've already waited too long. With each day, the princess becomes more powerful. With each night, her sister becomes more of a memory.

My friends are all asleep. I know I told them I would wait, that I wouldn't do this alone. But there's a large chance that I'll end up locked up, or worse. I can't do this to my friends. Steeling myself, I tilt my face towards the rising moon. The Mare in the Moon seems to look back. I swear she knows what I'm planning.

I begin my spell, feeling the magic tingling through my horn. This is risky, and I know it is, but based on my research, it has to happen tonight. Only on a blue moon will I be able to free the Mare in the Moon. I sure hope she appears as Luna; otherwise, I'll have Nightmare Moon to deal with.

As soon as I finish the spell, the Mare in the Moon vanishes. I look around for Luna, confused and a bit concerned. I turn around, and there she is, standing behind me and smiling. "Why have you summoned me?"

I brace myself. "I freed you because we need to overthrow Celestia."
