Here's one: scientist used the three main characters featured in the videos and exposed them to learning through slightly disturbed teachers to see how they react and if they would be mentally stable.
With Roy's permission, they used his son and his house. The other two characters also were voluntarily given up to the scientists by their parents. They exposed them to these teachers and since it was in Roy' house, he was allowed to observe but not interfere.
In DHMIS 1, Roy was allowed to watch, but only behind the scenes where the scientists were watching. The reason he was allowed to watch and be in the videos in the other videos was because the scientists started to trust him more. If you notice, whenever you see Roy, he doesn't talk, and only observes. This is probably because he doesn't want to mess up the tests. Even when the attention is directed at him ("I'm friends with my dad." "My dad is a-a c-computer.") he said nothing. His breathing was maybe heavier because he was nervous it would make the tests unreliable if he interfered.
Once Red Guy's head exploded, that was the scientists approving of him to go into the real world and see how he coped in society. When Duck Guy "died" this was him actually dying.
In DHMIS 6, Roy went out to make sure Red Guy was normal in society. When he saw him singing in the club, he saw that he was not okay. Since the test they performed on the three guys was illegal, Roy somehow transported him to a different place that way the other red guys in the audience didn't start to suspect anything.
He (Roy) then realized that if the scientists continued with the tests, his son would not turn out okay. So, instead of unplugging the machine himself (he feared the scientists would get mad and hurt him or something) he led Red Guy to it and let him unplug it. If he really didn't wan't him to unplug the machine, he would've gone a bit faster. Think about it, he was moving pretty slowly.
Anywho, I literally made this one up on the spot and started going back and including details. I hope you guys like it. Comment if you have an argument or need clarification. Remember to like, comment, and share. Chao for now!
