Ahhhhhh it's been so long since I've got a chance to update and I have a theory that I thought of yesterday in class... As always, I hope you enjoyyyyyyy!
Okay, so you know how in DHMIS 5 (The Healthy Song) the phone is ringing and then the teachers just totally start singing over it and try to make the characters (Daniel and Duck Face) disregard it? Perhaps, this represents the media distracting us from things and drawing our attention else where, I've heard many claims that the whole "Ebola" thing is just a hoax and none of it was ever real, it's just that the media and the government was drawing your attention there to hide something bigger...
In class today, my social studies teacher commented on how everyone was looking at this, while you are obvious to things happening over there. The government and media are saying,
"WHOA LOOK AT THIS!"
to draw your attention away from things they don't want you to see or know.
Just as the Can was saying "ARE YOU HUNGRY? YOU LOOK TO BE A BIT HUNGRY!" and such, the phone was ringing and he wanted Duck Guy to pay less attention to the phone and more attention to him.
