Jodi's POV
The warehouse was boring but checking on Naomi made it worth while, I had cameras in the house and sometimes when I wasn't there she'd play with herself. I turned on the tracker on her phone to find out where she was but it was shut off. I checked again confused to see if they were malfunctioning, the only times she turned her phone off was when she had a test and she didn't have any today. I kept in touch with her teachers who happily gave me the information I needed. I looked at the application to see that not only her phone was off but Munroe's as well and his phone was never off. The trackers were still on but the phones were off like a parasite without a host.
Where were they? I hadn't spoken to Naomi in days but I had been so busy with work. This meeting with the eldest daughter of The Cenzos had me on edge. First they step into our territory after we made it clear we didn't want to start shit. Then they claim they want to set up a mutualistic meeting that would benefit us both, this shit had better be good.
She kissed on me then went to work on my ego. I knew I shouldn't be doing this but this girl had to leave satisfied or else it was problems for me later. I let her leave me with Naomi and a guilty conscious behind.
I turned on my phone and looked to find that Naomi had called and texted me repeatedly. I felt bad, I walked out of the office to see her standing there. Tears stained her cheeks and she looked beautiful, I stepped toward her to hug her and she stepped away from me, "Naomi, what are you-"
I felt exposed wanting to cover the hickey on my neck that she had already seen.
"Do you Jodi," I stood confused feeling a pain in my chest.
"What do you-" I looked up to see her gone, I ran outside to see Munroe drive off with her. I went back inside and flipped over a table.
Q looked at me, "What the fuck are you looking at?!"
Usually I didn't yell at Q because he could kill me if he wanted to and I knew that.
I kept watching the clock hoping that this was just a dream. I called Naomi's phone repeatedly just for it to go straight to voicemail.
"Instead of being here with these people who don't give a fuck about you why don't you go home to her and talk to her." He was right, I had been here for hours wondering what to do like an idiot, "You know what you did she waited out here for you while you did it. Remedy the whole situation and get your shit together." Q looked at me like I was slow, "Don't-"
I left the building before he could say anymore, the guys pulled my car up and sped off to the house. I walked inside to see the door left open. I was on alert, "Naomi? Naomi! Naomi where you at? I'm sorry!"
I walked upstairs to see the bedroom empty, the bathroom was empty and she wasn't in the house. Her side of the closet was empty, every drawer, every dresser, all her stuff was gone.
I called her phone with little hope she'd pick up, "The number you have now dialed has been disconnected, if you have entered the number-" I hung up and anger built up in me, all I could see was red and I punched the wall.
I called Munroe, "What can I do for you?"
"Where is she Munroe?!"
"On a plane?"
"Where?!"
"I don't know where I wasn't informed and I won't be informed until she lands."
"How the hell do you not know?! Are you fucking kidding me?!" I could feel the bulging vein in my forehead.
"I wasn't told Jodi, I'm just here looking for a new house until she gets back and doing what I was told man. If she wants to talk to you she will, give her time. She has a lot going on."
