A/N: Okay I've teased Riley finding out long enough, here you guys go. Enjoy!

Riley's POV

Apart from Farkle everyone was acting really sketchy today. Maya seemed like she was in a zoned out mood today, Lucas wasn't making eye contact and dad wants me to come home alone today.

Instead of getting a ride home with Farkle I decided to walk home to get some air. With my friendship with Maya being a little rocky right now I didn't really care about anything else. I really don't understand anything I'm feeling right now. When I walked in the house, Shawn, and my parents were all sitting there.

"What's up guys?" I looked at all of them in confusion.
"Riley, come sit down." My mom gestured for me to come sit on the couch with them.
"You guys are freaking me out, what's going on?" I was starting to feel more nervous then I previously was.
"There's something going on with Maya." My dad chimed in completely taking away all tension.
"Yeah I know that, but she still won't tell me, I couldn't break through when I went over to talk to her the other day." I sighed in defeat.
"Unfortunately Riley this has to be something that she's ready to tell you on her own. It's important to her it stays that way." My mom looked at me.
"What could it possibly be?! Maya tells me everything and now it's like I don't exist to her." I felt the tears filling my eyes.
"Trust me Riley, you exist to her. She is trying to understand everything before she tells you." Shawn tried comforting me, but it didn't really work.
"Then why do you guys know before me?" I looked at them demanding answers.
"Well, your father and I just happened to be here when she came to talk to just Shawn so she told us to because she needed adult support." My mom made me feel slightly better.
"I just need her to tell me." I looked down.

Maya's POV

M: I just got to Riley's so I'll call you after and let you know when to come over
L: good luck, you'll do great :)
M: you too huckleberry

I found it kind of funny that I won't be able to climb this fire escape much longer. I peaked in the window to make sure she wasn't in there yet, I'm safe. I quietly opened her window and sat myself in the bay window to think over everything I'm going to say to her before I make it known I'm here. I take a deep breath and pull my phone out of my pocket and texted Shawn.

M: I'm here. I'm waiting in her room for her. Sounds kinda bad out there.
S: she's just upset. We'll send her up.

I heard Riley's voice coming closer. She sounded angry. Here we go, the door knob was turning. In walked a stressed out crying Riley which made my heart sink knowing it was partially my fault.

"Maya?" She seemed like she thought she was seeing things.
"Hey Riles." I smiled at her.
"What are you doing here?" She seemed just as confused as I was about all this and she doesn't even know yet.
"Well, I need to have a talk with you." She motioned for me to come sit at the window with her.
"Maya, what's going on with you?" She grabbed my hand and held it tight.
"Riley there's no easy way to say this, so I'm just going to come out and say it and hope for the best, I'm pregnant." I was terrified to look at her.
"Maya don't be ridiculous, you have to have sex to be pregnant." She thought it was a joke, she wondered where my response was and when she looked at me basically had my jaw dropped in shock she didn't believe me.
"Wait, you're serious?" She was starting to let go of my hand.
"Pretty positive Riles." I showed her the papers from the appointment this morning.
"That's crazy, it's slim to none that a pregnancy happens the first time." Her face turned completely pale white.
"I didn't say that we only did it once." This was not going how I hoped it would.
"How many times were you going to keep making the same mistake until this happened?" She shot a glare at me.
"Woah Riley. It's not like I asked Lucas to put a baby in me. Things happen, sometimes things happen for a reason." I snapped back at her because now she was striking a nerve.
"There's several ways you could have avoided this instead of acting like the city prostitute, do you think your mom would be proud of your choices right now Maya? Like seriously?" All of the anger I was hiding is now out, there's no hiding it anymore.
"Riley! How dare you talk about my mother that has any relation to the choices I make. Yes, I could have been more responsible, but this is something me and Lucas are doing together on our own, we wanted the people we love to be involved and I'm getting the feeling you don't want to be one of those people anymore." I just stared at her.
"Maybe you're right, maybe you should just leave." The last thing she was being was understand.
"Seriously? After everything we've been through." I'm literally in shock, I'm not sure what to do.
"Yes seriously, first you take Lucas after me and him dated-" I cut her off right there.
"YOU are the one that told me to go for it, YOU pushed him to talk to me, so if it's anyone's fault him and I are together now, it's yours and there's no changing that now, Riles, I love him." I was trying to explain things calmly.
"I don't care Maya, just go." She wouldn't even look at me.
"Okay.. I'll go" I climbed out her window and I was already crying so hard that my sobs were silent.

How will I get through this without my best friend? She's always been there for me since we were five and now she's not. I don't understand.
