Trigger warning

"All I'm saying is," Louis pauses as the waiter puts our food in front of us, "you can move back in anytime."

"Lou," I sigh. "You know that's not a good idea right now. Besides, I like living with Harry."

"So what, are you just going to move in indefinitely?" he asks with widened eyes.

I shrug. "Maybe. But I'd really like to get this current problem under control before I start stressing out over decisions like that."

"Yeah, I guess. I just miss you is all," he says quietly.

"I miss you too," I give him a sad smile. "Maybe you should ask Katie to move in."

Louis' cheeks get a slight pink tint to them. "Yeah?"

"Definitely. You guys are like meant to be," I smile encouragingly.

"I'll think about it," he mumbles and we both start eating our food.

Louis and I met at a little café for lunch. It took a hell of a lot of convincing for Harry to let me do this. But it's only a block from his office and he hasn't been in since I started living with him, so he went to check on things while Lou and I eat.

Mr. Carter hasn't done anything in the past two weeks either. I doubt he gave up, but I guess he's just lying low. Plus Louis is here to protect me if something happens. But that doesn't keep Harry from texting me every ten minutes to see if I'm okay.

"So how have you been?" Louis asks with a mouthful of salad.

"Alright I guess," I shrug. "Just worried."

"Still having nightmares?"

I nod, biting the inside of my cheek. Some nights are worse than others, but I have Harry to comfort me. It makes the whole "waking up in a cold sweat and tears" thing a whole lot more bearable.

"We'll catch him. It's going to be alright," he says softly, squeezing my hand. "Now, I'm going to go pay the bill. Be right back."

He walks to the front of the restaurant and I'm left at the table. I pull out my phone and see messages from Harry.

Daddy: How's everything going?

Daddy: Princess?

Daddy: Babeeeeeeee answer me.

I roll my eyes, a tiny smile playing on my lips.

Me: Stop worrying. I'm fine.. Love y

As I'm about to finish the text, my phone gets ripped out of my hands.

"Louis, what the fu-"

My heart stops as my eyes meet the one person I thought I'd never see again.

Zayn.

"Daddy, huh? Didn't think a prude like you had in it you," he smirks, putting my phone in his pocket.

I swallow thickly.

"W-What are you doing here?"

"Funny story, actually." He stops and looks at his watch. "But it's going to have to wait. Now let's go."

"I'm not going anywhere with you," I cross my arms.

"Well, sweetheart, you don't have much of a choice." He shows me the inside of his jacket, a shiny black gun catching my eye. "Unless you want to get hurt. Or maybe your goody goody brother over there," he nods in the direction Louis went. "Or maybe even your Daddy."
