Prologue

Lahat ng tao ay naghahanap ng true love nila especially girls. Sometimes, nagkakaroon nalang sila ng eye bugs because they we're up all night just to fantasize about their 'perfect' love story.

Buong magdamag silang gising just to figure out if magkakaroon ba sila ng 'happily ever after' just like the books they've read, movies they've saw and stories they've heard.

But face the reality dear, 'once upon a time' lang ang meron. There's no happy ending, happily ever after ek ekan na yan.

Everybody looks miserable, stupid and desperate. Chasing someone who can't even dare to chase them back is just a waste a time pero marami pa rin ang ganito.

Can't they understand the word WALA?!

Walang magmamahal like the way they wanted, like the way they imagined. Reality is really far from fantasies nga.

For years I've been existing in this world, lahat na sigurong love story ay nararanasan ko. Inlove with my bestfriend, with my kuya's friend, and even with my friend's ex.

Cliché right?

Siguro sa lahat ng nangyayari na saklap when it comes to love ay expert na ako or maybe magna cum laude na. But neither of my love stories ended with happily ever after, it was just a once upon a time tho.

Siguro nga masaya, masarap at magaan sa feeling sa umpisa. Pero sa UMPISA lang. They fades sa kalagitnaan.

Reason?

Sawa, pagod, wala ng oras. Magpapaimpress lang kasi sa una pero sa huli, true colors show. Di man lang paninindigan!

Meron nga nagtanong sa'kin noon na 'have you ever encounter someone that you probably think na 'he's the one'?

Ang sagot ko para diyan? Simple. NO! Bitter lang but that's true.

Sa nararanasan ko, maniniwala pa ba ako diyan? Ang hirap nang maniwala. Ang hirap ng balikan ang salitang TRUST.

Sa mundo ngayon, nobody's real. Lahat nagpanggap, magpanggap at magpapanggap. They act someone whom you'll really admire at first. But in the end, their real intention is to hurt your feelings.

Wag na tayong maniwala sa salitang forever na yan. Nakakarindi na rin pakinggan ang salitang yan eh.

Forever is just a word. It doesn't really exist.

Yan ang ma-advice ko sayo kasi sa panahon ngayon, kahit saang sulok ng mundo, WALANG FOREVER!

FOREVER IS JUST A WORD. It was spoken but never happened.

Ayy. Almost forgot to mention my name. Napahaba pala ang ang hugot slash bitter slash monologue ko.

Ito na. I'm Khayla Gail Montes. 19 years young.

Young nga pero ang experiences? Too old.

College student pala sa Madrigal medical University. Nurse kasi kinuha ko and last year at last sem ko na 'to. Saya noh?

Onti nalang at makakalabas na rin ako sa 'stress zone' na ito. Aja!
