Chapter 15~ The Decision

(Christian's POV)

She's bleeding out, but I can't lose her. I don't want her to become a monster either. I was forced and I'd be forcing her into the same thing. I just can't lose her. The blood kept pouring out of her neck, if I kept waiting it'd be too late to save her. I tried not to think about it as I bit into my wrist and put it up to her mouth. The blood slowly pouring down her throat.

After a few seconds her hands reached for my arm and held my wrist against her lips as she continued to drink. I gently pulled my wrist from her, slowly lifting my gaze to meet hers. Her eyes were filling with tears as she realized what I had done to her. She moved as far away from me as possible. Avoiding me like the monster I am. I couldn't move, I was frozen in place.

I knew she would hate me. The others knew it too or they wouldn't have made me do that to her. It's my punishment for betraying them.

"Well Christian, you did it. You turned her. Now you can spend an eternity together." I couldn't stand it, I pushed myself up off the ground and headed straight for the door. I had just put my hand on the doorknob when I heard a faint whisper.

"Christian......don't leave me." I was debating on going to her or not. I couldn't just leave her there, not with the others. I turned my back to the door and quickly made my way over to Serena. She cringed away from me but I picked her up anyway before quickly leaving the room and the others behind us. I took Serena upstairs and put her in one of the spare rooms.

As I tried to go to sleep all I could think about, all I could focus on was her crying. She had been crying for a good 2 hours or so now and it was all my fault...........
