Chapter 19~ Christian?

(Serena's POV)

"Christian?" I reached forward but before I could touch him he moved away from me and headed to the door. Without saying another word he left me standing there dumbstruck. While I was debating on whether or not to go find Christian Aaron and Lissa walked into the room.

"Oh hey Serena. Where's Christian?" Aaron and Lissa step forward into the room standing in front of me.

"I don't know. He showed me something and then when he brought me back up here he said some things about his parents and then he left." Aaron and Lissa looked to each other before they turned their attention back to me.

"He told you what we had to do to his parents didn't he?" I nodded my head slowly and debated about telling them what he had shown me.

"What did he show you?" Aaron watched me nervously as if I was going to tell him some really bad news.

"He showed me something that I deserved to see. There's nothing more to it." Aaron and Lissa both had identical looks of worry on their faces as they registered what I had said.

"He showed you your parents didn't he?" I didn't answer them but that was all the confirmation they needed.

"Christian is going to pay dearly for that when they find out."

"Do you mean that they're going to put him back in the damned room and torture him?" Aaron looked to me sadly.

"No they'll put you in the torture room." Me? Why me? I didn't do anything wrong. Lissa seeing I. The confusion on my face walked over to me and grabbed both my arms.

"You'll be put in the torture room because Christian seems to care more about you than he does himself. A point he should have never let them discover." Then Aaron came to stand beside Lissa.

"Now they can use it to their advantage. If they put you in the torture then they'll have Christian wrapped around their finger. He'll do anything to get you out there and they know it." Aaron watched me carefully probably looking for any signs that would show I understand what he had just told me. I definitely understood it but I didn't understand how they could be cruel enough to do something like this.

Then someone else came into the room and looking at them closely showed that thy were guards. Not just any guards either, these were the same guards that had brought Christian up from the torture room. These were the guards that had been assigned to torture people and they were here for me.

Before I could move out of their reach they had grabbed me an pinned my hands behind my back. Then without a word to Aaron or Lissa they led me out of Christian's room and down the hall. I fought against them but I wasn't as strong or as skilled in combat as these guys were. Even if I was a vampire now. In the end they led me directly to the torture room and as the door closed behind me I hoped Christian could save me from this.
