Happy Halloween (Tony Perry)

“So what am I supposed to tell everyone?!” Krissy semi-yelled at me, it was Halloween and I promised all the kids in my apartment complex I’d be handing candy and other treats for them. Besides from worrying about my band, when I was home I did a lot of babysitting for the single moms and dads in the complex; it was something I loved to do ever since I was a teenager even though I  tell people I hate kids; I only hate the little devils that are younger than 4.

“That I’m sick, or just tell them I’m giving out candy! Wait, no don’t tell them that they would all come to the apartment” I groaned, Krissy was going to a Halloween party with my band and a few others it was also for JJ’s clothing line opening or whatever. I should really go but I never lied to disappoint the kids, their faces when it came to disappointment always hit me pretty hard.  

“Fine, now sit down and let me finish your hair; Princess Leia!” Krissy laughed, I simply rolled my eyes at her, and I didn’t have time to go out and buy a costume so I just opened up my old cosplay closet and picked out an old favorite of mine.

“Ya’know Tony is going to be at the party” Krissy said as she started to finish up my hair, I smiled to myself; Tony Perry, I met him not to long ago on a tour and ever since then we’ve been talking on and off considering how busy we both are, we’ve hung out a few times but usually the bands were there or it would be kind of like a double date with his friend Jaxin and his wife.

“As much as I miss Tony you know I can’t disappoint these kids” I sighed, knowing that any minute now the apartment complex is going to be filled with children and their parent or parents getting ready to make rounds, and to come by my place for meaningless small talk and ask about my travels.

“Fine, but this party is like the only time you have off before you and the guys go back on tour!” Krissy complained, but I quickly shushed her. Yes, I understood that I wouldn’t have much time to see people after this Halloween but honestly I rather stay home and hand out candy than get drunk and have a killer hangover the next morning.

“There done” She grumbled before putting all the hair stuff away, and started on my make-up this was one of her favorite things to do. Just play with my hair and make-up like I was a Barbie doll, even though I was far from one.

“All done, now can I go? Unlike you I don’t want to miss this party, Mr. Worsnop is going to be there” She winked at me before basically running out my door, I rolled my eyes and started to get the candy ready. Also I put on some harmless Halloween music and my Halloween lights until there was knock at my door. I sighed they must have started the trick-or-treating early, I made my way over to the door but as soon as I opened it there was a large group of children and a grown-man wearing a storm trooper outfit.

“Mrs. Sabel! This man says he’s here to protect you!” The smallest little girl said to me, the man in the suit awkwardly waved his hand at me before the little girl grabbed it again. He has two kids on both sides of him holding his hands; I laughed and shook my head.

“That’s a storm trooper children, do you know what a storm trooper is?” I asked them, the tallest and probably the oldest one out of the group raised his hand to answer.

“A storm trooper is the bad guys, they work for Darth Vader” I nodded my head in agreement; all the children suddenly screamed and started to hit the guy in the suit.

“Ahh! No stop! I surrender!” He yelled taking off his helmet to reveal a very happy and smiling Tony Perry.

“Oh, it’s no storm trooper it’s my Han Solo in his Halloween costume” I smiled as I walked up to Tony; he opened up his arms and engulfed me in a hug as best as he could in his suit.
