23 years old
The cinnamon boy took a deep breath, tucking the small black box into his coat pocket. He giggled as he watched his boyfriend, struggling only slightly with the faded white ice skates.
Vik had always wanted to have their first date on the ice, even before anything had been established between the two, and though they'd been more than friends for quite a while now, they'd never went on a date.
That day was Viks chance to fulfill his wish.
The blond gripped sweater clad shoulders, digging the tip of the ice pick into the gleaming surface.
"Come on Harry. It's just like rollerblading. Back and forth, back and forth."
The two glided around the frozen lake, skates leaving streaks of cut glass behind them.
The cinnamon boy adjusted his thick grey beanie, untangling himself from his boyfriend.
"Star!"
"Don't worry Haz. It's easy."
The cinnamon boy held out his mitten covered hands, standing face to face with the inexperienced boy.His face was flushed from the cold. Wind having bitten at his cheeks and nose till they were pink. Harry's face held a nervous smile.
"Ice skating was a bad idea for our first date."
The cinnamon star leaned his forehead towards the others, digging his toe pick into the ice to stand on his tip toes. A small kiss was pressed to the blond boys nose, a blush adding to his ruddy face.
"And why was that?"
"Because Vik. I can't help but fall for you. And we both know how bad at this I am already."
Star giggled, guiding his boyfriend back to the plexiglass wall.
"Harry. I've been wanting to do this for years. I've been wanting you for years. And I finally got the courage to do it."
The cinnamon boy got down on a single knee, the blond's face frozen in shock. Gloved hands covered flushed cheeks, tears sparking in the corners of aquamarine eyes.
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes Star. Hell yes."
