The blond dragged his hands through grease slicked hair, the man unable to shower in his constant state of worry.
The weakened state of his husband was terrifying to the blond. Why him...
"I'd thought you quit star?"
"I did... The damage was done, I can't go back."
"How many appointments have you gone to."
The cinnamon boy hung his head.
"Seven."
"And you didn't think to tell me? Star, I've been stressing myself sick for weeks!"
The cinnamon boy wiped tears from his face, cheeks pale from exhaustion.
"I'm sorry Harry, I couldn't bring myself to tell you"
Silence. Harry moving his thumb to clear the regret from the contours of his lover's face.
"I... Star, I -just- how long?"
"What,"
"You know what I mean. Star, how long do you have?"
The cinnamon boy hesitated to tell, terrified of being left to suffer alone and in silence without his main source of support.
"Star?"
"A year."
Silence.
"I need a minute."
And with that, Harry jogged to grab a jacket, and slammed the door shut, leaving his star to wander aimlessly around their apartment in search of something - anything - to take his mind off of the situation he found himself in.

Knock once.
Knock twice.
Knock three times.
And wait. The cold oak door swung open to reveal two familiar figures, already sorrow looks upon their faces.
They waited months for Harry to show up.
Simons apologetic gaze rested itself on the younger as he stepped back a little. Josh spoke through the sound of rain battering down around the dripping blond.
"I guess he told you."
And all Harry could do was nod as he broke down once more. The friendly duo held out their arms, and the broken man was pulled into a comforting embrace.
The tallest blond spoke up in a soothing voice, hand running through matted, wet locks.
"Cmon, i'll make you a cuppa."
