Chapter 37

Chres POV

Lucas is one stupid kid to break up with Alyssa. After he left I still wanted to know why would she ever go out with a guy like him?

"Chres, do you want ice cream or...?" Alyssa said from the kitchen.

"Yes, what kind do you have?" I said walking into the kitchen beside her.

"Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream or Cookie Dough."

"Hmm...I'll take Chocolate." I said running off into the living room with while Alyssa is chasing me.

"You can't have the whole thing Chres." She said trying to get it from. She tried jumping up to get it, but that didn't work, we both ended upon the floor.

She was on top of me. I looked into her light brown eyes and leaned in. She started to lean but stopped and got up. "The ice creams are going to melt." She said smiling and walking back into the kitchen.

This girl got me going crazy over her already. I walked in the kitchen and sat in one of the chairs. "Here you go." Alyssa said giving me my ice cream.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome Chres."

"You know you don't have to call me that right?"

"Ok, so what do you want me to call you then?"

"Roc."

"Kk, that is a cool name for too."

"Why thank you."

"Your welcome." She said getting on the counter. When she did she started staring into space. I gave her that time to think, but it was too quiet.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, just thinking. Why you ask?"

"Because I really care about and won't let any one hurt you." I said looking straight into her eyes.

"Aww thanks boo." I'm boo now wow, that really touched my heart😂. She came down off the counter and gave me a tight hug. I hugged back.

Alyssa POV

I was just so happy that I had Roc around. I think there was a reason why I met Roc, I just don't know what the reason is. We were just talking and things to that nature. I turned on my phone to have my phone blown up with messages and calls from Draya, Will and ughh Lucas. I texted Draya because she is nosy and can get worried ode.

I put my phone on the counter as I got back on. I was just laughing at Draya, she is just something else I tell you. I looked at the time and it was 11:30. "Oh shit!" I said out loud by accident.

"What's wrong?"

"I have school tomorrow."

"Ok, then I'll leave so you can get your beauty sleep."

I walked him to the door. "Alyssa I had a great time with you."

"Me too maybe, we can do this often?"

"For sure. What's your number so we can keep in touch?"

"Ok." We exchanged numbers and we gave each other a hug.

"Bye baby girl."

"Byes are forever so see you later?"

"True and yeah. " He walked over to me and kissed my forehead. I watched as he pulled off and beeped, I waved and went inside. Now I have to think of a plan to get back at Lucas.
