Chapter 55

Alyssa POV

Lucas and I were upstairs in his room talking about random things that we already knew about each other.

"Lucas can I ask you a question?"

"Anything." He sat down on the bed and gave me his full attention.

"Ok, so when we broke up, how come you went out with Draya?"

"When you left the club with that dude and Will started acting crazy and hit Draya. I took her to my place and helped her out. We were talking and next thing you know it got quiet. She kissed  me and things lead to another and we ended up going out. I'm  not proud of what I did, we were just in the moment and I'm sorry that I hurt you."

I couldn't believe what I just heard. He looked me staighr in my eyes as he told me, but why me though.

"Can I ask a question?" I nodded my head.

"What really happened with you and Will?"

"I told you already. Do you think I was lying to your face" I said confused that he asked.

"No its not that, I believe you. Its just Will told me that you texted him over saying y'all had to talk about y'all relationship."

I looked at him crazy.

"No, that's nor what even happened.(explained everything)

"He stay lying."

"Right. Then this morning he was asking to get a second chance ans that he love me."

"That dude mind set is fucked up."

"And your isn't?"

"Whatever." He said slipping his imaginary hair. I laughed at him and that's when it got quiet, but not an awkward silence.

"Kids come and eat." Our mom said. Yes I call her my mom because she always been second mom to me.

We walked downstairs and sat at the table next to each other.

"Damn this food looks good.' There were mac and cheese, yellow rice, fried chicken and a side of pink lemonade. Omg it looked so good.

"Watch your mouth Mr and pray first. We prayed and Lucas started going in.

"Lucas slow down before you choke." I said laughing a lil.

"So how is Draya? Have y'all seen her?" Lucas mom asked. I looked up and Lucas was looking at me.

"She prolly somewhere suc-(gco)

"She is good." Lucas said cutting me off and looking at me. I smiled at Lucas mom.

"Are y'all ready for summer?'

"Yes lort. I would be so happy to get out that jail." They chuckled.

Next thing you know we hear Lucas phone buzz. I looked at him to check his phone.

"Can I be excused ma?'

"Yeah handle your business."

Lucas POV

I walked out and it was Draya.

Phone Call

"Hey babe."

"What's up?"

"Can you come over?"

"Nah I'm with my mom and Alyssa."

"Why you still with that hoe."

I looked at the phone like she got the nerve to call someone a hoe.

"First off Alyssa is never a hoe, ok. Second you the hoe you. Third we are over so don't  call me again and delete my number and let me go back to my girl."

Phone Convo Over

I hung up the phone before she can say something. All Draya wanted was some dick, that's why she was always called me. I walked back happy as ever ans sat back down in my seat.

"What you happy about?" Alyssa asked.

"You." I held her hand under the table and kissed her cheek as she blushed.

"Awe y'all too have to be lowkey dating?"

"No, Alyssa has a boyfriend already, but we just hest friends right now."

"Ohh." My mom said understanding.

After Dinner

Alyssa POV

Lucas and I were in the kitxhen washing the dishes.

"Lucas you didn't have to help I could've did it."

"Then what you want me to do mom?"

"Clear off the table atleast."

"Ok mommy." He started cleaning off the tables while i was done drying the dishes. I sat on the counter watching Lucas clear the table off.

I took a picture of him and put it on Instagram. The caption was

"My best friend stay workin...that ass😂😍😘"

I tagged him in it and posted it. I immediately got hella likes and comments.

"You know...there is a Chris Brown concert this Saturday and I was thinking do you wanna go?"

I looked at him and smiles big as hell.

"Yes, I would love to go and see my baybeh (August Alsina voice)" I hugged him.

"Just to let you know you can't get mad at me when I don't pay attention to you because Breezy is oh my gosh." I said dying.

"I'll show you "oh my gosh" aight."

He then took off his shirt. I covered my eyes but he took them away from my face. He put his waist between my legs and started looking in my eyes ans kissed me. I kissed him back. He started kissing on my neck. I was touching his 6 pack and then next thing you know he stopped.

"You have a boyfriend right?" He smirked and grabbed his shirt then headed upstairs.

I was just left on the counter looking dumbfounded, like is this nigga serious, he just basically teased me."

Damn, Lucas did her dirty. What if that happened to you? What would do?
