Reunion - Episode Three

A black van is driving down an empty street. The street lights are on, the night sky and the moon hovering over them. Inside the black van are the Chosen Children along with their digimon partners and the mysterious woman who brought Mimi to Haneda Airport. The Chosen Children are sitting in the back of the van, that they can all amazingly fit in.

"Who is she anyway?" Yamato whispers to his friends.

"How dense are you? She's clearly a secret agent." Skylar tells Yamato.

Yamato gives Skylar a half glare, mostly feeling annoyed that she called him dense.

"Skylar-chan, I highly doubt that." Cassie denies, sweat dropping.

"She looks scary." Sora admits, shivering.

"I'm glad we're all going home safely, anyway." Taichi says.

"It would have been a hassle if she wasn't there." Sara agrees.

All of their digimon partners huddle together getting some shut eye. Each one getting their rest they deserve. Renamon is using her Kohenkyo attack, using a transformation art to look like a younger version of her human partner.

"Where is Joe-senpai? And Gomamon?" Mimi asks friends.

"We don't know." Takeru answers.

Everyone looks towards Sayo. The said girl frowns and looks down at her phone with a dejected expression.

No new messages

No new calls

"Sorry... I haven't received any messages from him... He hasn't returned my calls either." Sayo replies, tightening her grip on her phone.

Sayo glances over at Skylar with a small gleam of hope in her eyes.

"Did you get anything from him?" Sayo asks her.

Now all eyes lay on Skylar. The redhead narrows her eyes at the sudden attention. Did they all seriously forget what Joe did to her? How has he been treating her for the past two years?

"Obviously not!" Skylar snaps at her friends.

Skylar notices Sayo's worried expression and her wincing. The redhead sighs and collects herself, from losing to her stored up anger.

"I'm sorry, Sayo. I got nothing from Joe." Skylar answers, calmly.

Sayo smiles at her favorite friend, but the group can tell she's trying to push away her worry and act like it's not a big deal.

"Don't fret about it, Skylar. You guys know how forgettable he can be..." Sayo reassures them.

"Sayo..." Skylar mumbles.

"Maybe something stopped him from coming." Taichi suggests.

"This is our reliable ole Joe, we're talking about." Sol reminds them with a smile.

"Yeah, maybe. He's in his final year after all." Sora agrees.

"His final year huh." Mimi hums.

Koushiro glances over at Mimi with a light pink blush dusted on his cheeks. Mimi turns to Koushiro when she has the feeling of someone looking at her. Koushiro immediately looks away from her, embarrassed that he's been caught.

"Hm? What is it, Koushiro-kun?" Mimi asks him, tilting her head in confusion.

"N-No, it's nothing." Koushiro answers her.

Mimi smirks and looks at Koushiro with a teasing look on her face. Koushiro is still blushing and looking out the window.

"What? Have I gotten so cute that your heart is racing?" Mimi questions him, teasingly.
