Alice sat alone in her home deciding she felt like baking. Walking down to her kitchen she rolled up the sleeves of her simple dress she wore and started rummaging through her pantry. When everything was set out she started diligently recalling recipes she remembered. Whisking up egg whites she glanced at the oven and frowned in thought. 'How the hell do I work this stone age contraption?' She eyed it carefully then frankly plopped herself in front of it as she opened it and tried to figure out how it worked but to no avail when familiar chuckling reached her ears.
She turned around and glanced at Sebastian who stood smirking at her smugly before extending a hand to help her up from her place on the floor. Alice blinked up at him before slowly accepting his hand and letting him pull her up. She blushed lightly looking away, turning her attention to her baking.
Sebastian smiled when he eyed all the ingredients, "so little maid it would seem you do know how to cook yet at the masters mansion you never did cook much. But it would seem you are having troubles figuring out the stove."
Alice nodded slowly biting her lip as she picked up the bowl she had been busy with. When Sebastian motioned for her to follow him to the stove and slowly explained to her how it worked. After that she smiled nodding as her first batch of pastries she had made went in the oven.
Sebastian smirked as she washed her items she had used and prepared the next lot of batter for biscuits she decided she would make. She turned when she felt him watching her and raised an eyebrow at him. "Yes?"
Sebastian slowly made his way towards her, his eyes never leaving her form. "You do realize what you are getting yourself into with him don't you?"
Alice remained silent watching him.
"And you are aware that I will never give up no matter what side you had to choose?" he questioned again.
Alice blinked, eyes widening with the realization that he was there the night her and undertaker had their personal discussion. "You spied on us didn't you?" she growled her knuckles turning white as she gripped the wooden spoon in her hand.
Sebastian smirked. "I won't lie to you and tell you I didn't eaves drop."
Alice narrowed her eyes at him, infuriated that he had been there the whole time. "You low life jerk how dare you listen, what are you even doing in my home without my consent?"
Sebastian moved nearer to her, "I have to keep my eye on you my little maid, you have caught my special attention and I will not give up in my pursuit of you no matter how many times you decline me."
Alice looked at him infuriated. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WI-"she was cut off from her ranting when Sebastian suddenly kissed her.
"If there was something wrong with me I would have left you to do what you wanted long ago and let you seal your fate with that reaper, but that is something I just cannot allow you to do my little maid."
Alice glared up at him before she did the unthinkable and smacked Sebastian in the face with a batter covered spoon, his smooth skin sticky with the sugary substance as his eyes narrowed at her after the initial shock wore off and then he gave her the most demonic smirk she had ever seen grace his face. It caused a shudder to run down her spine and the demon felt it smirking.
"Do you fear me little maid?" he pried in a taunting voice as he glared down at her.
Alice scoffed as she tried to move away from him only to have him pull her closer till her breath was almost crushed out of her lungs.
"Tell me who has nursed you back to health, who has saved you from death more than once and who was the one who found you, gave you a purpose in this place, gave you a place to stay and a bed to sleep in at night?" he glared at her.
Alice knew as much as she hated to admit it Sebastian was the reason she had everything she did, if it wasn't for him when she first met him she would have been dead long ago but she frowned and glared at him hissing, "and who made me work till my knuckles were raw, left me till my stomach was practically eating itself until he deemed I deserved to be fed, made me prepare rooms and scrub floors to an inhumane mirror like shine and.... And.... And stalked me and tried to hit on me and constantly made advances on me... and"- Alice knew she was running out of things to say.
The good that Sebastian had done for her outweighed the bad that he had done to her and she knew deep down she never declined a lot of his advances so she was also to blame.
Sebastian had done more for her than Undertaker had. He was there but never there for her when she had needed him. She never needed Sebastian but no matter how badly she treated him he was always there for her, helping her. He always found her. He always played the part of the knight in shining armor that the Undertaker was meant to play. Something deep within her started gnawing at her and started making her feel bad as she glanced to the side feeling ashamed of how she had treated him. Some of the things he had done warranted how she had treated him, but she knew instead of facing him she couldn't and that was why she didn't blink twice when she got the opportunity from madam Red to leave the estate and live with her.
"You cannot spend your life running away from me my little maid no matter what you try I will always be right there in the shadows watching over you." Sebastian had managed to trap her between the counter and his body successfully caging her.
Alice looked up at him, her mouth dry she knew her emotions were flickering across her eyes as she glanced up at the butler. The truth was harder to swallow than she ever imagined.
Sebastian's gaze softened as she looked down at Alice, gently stroking her cheek. "I have never lied to you little maid, my existence may be a dark one but my intentions involving you have only ever been good."
Slowly he moved down and kissed her gently and endearingly as he pulled her closer. Alice did not fight against him nor did she kiss him back and when Sebastian looked down at her he was shocked to see that the small female had been reduced to tears as they rolled down her cheeks. This alone confused him as he used a gloved had to dry her tears before she managed to free herself and fled the kitchen.
Sebastian turned to follow her but found a rather familiar scythe at his neck blocking him from making any further moves when Undertaker slowly walked towards him glaring.
"I leave my pet alone to go send off my lovely work to the Viscount and I come home to find you making advances on her and making her cry..." he growled as he glared at the demon.
