Tohru smiled as she walked to school with Yuki and Kyo. She wasn't sick anymore, thanks to Hatori and his medicine. She had missed a few days of school though, but all her missing assignments were done in a flash with Yuki guiding her through them.

I hope that I didn't cause too much trouble for them, I mean, they already do so much for me and I only help clean house.

Tohru heard Yuki sigh when they walked by the Prince Yuki Fan Club in the hallway, them seemed to be getting more and more determined to gain Yuki's attention. Sliding into her desk, Tohru noticed that the teacher was talking to the principal about something. What it was, she had no idea. The bell rang and the principal motioned for someone in the hallway to enter the room. A new student? Tohru's question was answered when a boy walked into the room wearing her school's uniform for boys. Immediately almost all of the girls in the class either had dreamy grins on their faces, or had their mouths hanging wide open. Tohru had to admit, the boy was rather handsome. His hair was black and long enough to cover one of his eyes. Tohru also noticed small red markings in his hair that reminded her of horns for some reason. The eye that wasn't covered by his black hair reminded her of the color of the moon, a bright yet pale blue. He wore a blue and purple yin yang on a dark silver chain around his neck. Tohru noticed he wore an almost mask-like expression on his face, as if he wanted to keep his emotions hidden from the world.

"My name is Ren Tsukino. It is a pleasure to meet all of you and I do hope that we can get along." He said formally with a short bow.

The teacher scanned the room for an empty desk.

"Alright Ren, all have you sit by.......Kyo!"

Tohru froze. This sounded like a recipe for disaster, putting the new kid right next to the orange hair Sohma. Yuki seemed to think so to, since Tohru saw him twitch a bit in surprise. Ren walked back to the empty desk next to Kyo and sat down without a word, his attention focused on the teacher.

Kyo sent a sideways glare to the new kid, trying to send the message of 'bug me and die'. To his surprise though, the kid didn't even flinch. He wasn't even paying any attention to him. Something told Kyo that this kid and him weren't going to get along very well.

The bell rang for lunch and Yuki stood up from his desk, wondering where he should go to eat his food. As he, Tohru, and finally Kyo exited the room, Yuki's attention was snagged by the sound of laughing.

"Aw, you have such a pretty name. Your name means water lily so you must smell so good. Mind if we take a sniff?" A group of boys sneered.

The new boy was surrounded by a group of seniors that sounded like they were making fun of his name.

"Hey water lily, we're talking to you!"

The boy didn't seem to listen as he started to walked away.

"Well, if you're just going to ignore me, then I'll take this!" One of the seniors said grabbing ahold of the necklace.

Time seemed to slow down in the next few seconds. The new boy spun on his foot and brought his knee up, causing it to slam into the senior's stomach. He'd also grabbed his shoulders while doing so to make sure his knee would hit its target. The senior was sent sliding down the hall for a few feet before skidding to a halt on his back. The rest of the gang seemed to be in shock at what just happened, as was everyone else who had witnessed it.

"Don't ever try that again, or next time it'll be your ribs that I hit. And I won't hold back." The boy hissed, "You have no right to touch this, got me?"

Yuki only watched wide-eyed as the new boy walked away.
