He Knows?!

Yuki and Kyo walked down the street. Tohru had went home ahead of them per their request, saying that they had something to take care of.

"Did you notice his necklace, it's the exact same one that I saw on the dog. Do you think that there's a connection?"

"How the hell should I know, ya damn rat?" Kyo grumbled.

Yuki sent a sideways glare is Kyo's direction.

"I'm being serious here. Do you think that it's possible we're dealing with another person cursed by the Zodiac?"

"Can't be. Shigure's the Dog and there's nothing even mentioning a wolf-like mutt."

Yuki held his chin, deep in thought. Could there be another kind of curse similar to the Zodiac? If so, just what was it, and were there more than just one bearer? The sound of metal against concrete suddenly rang out from an alleyway. Both of the boys hurried towards the sound, sliding to a stop to find something slightly terrifying. The new boy from school, Ren, was stepping on the chest of an older man who barely held a metal pole in his hands. Ren seemed to be pushing down on the man's chest because soon both Sohma boys heard a small pop.

"Get...off.....me....you damn....demon!" The man hissed.

A slightly twisted grin spread across Ren's face.

"I'm simply teaching you a lesson, you thug. Try attacking me again, and you'll end up with more than just a broken arm."

Yuki grimaced when he saw the man's other arm. It was bent at an odd angle and twisted. Had Ren really gone that far?

"Spread the word. Ren Tsukino isn't to be messed with, got it?" Ren hissed.

The man only managed to give a weak nod before went limp.

"He's not dead, I simply just beat the living hell out of him." Ren said walking over the man's body and exiting the alley.

Yuki only stood in shock. That dark gleam in Ren's eye when he nearly broke the man's ribs, it sent shivers up and down his spine. Ren walked passed them and out into the street.

"Wow, your curse must make you really violent, doesn't dog boy?" Kyo said.

Ren froze as soon as Kyo had finished his sentence.

"Curse? What curse? I'm just naturally violent....kitty cat." A sneer was on Ren's lips when he turned around, "And you two the perfect chaos duo aren't you, Cat and Rat of the Zodiac?"

Kyo and Yuki's eyes went wide. He knew about the Zodiac Curse?! Before they could do anything else, Ren jumped on top of a nearby stone wall. His sneer still on his face as he jumped down to the other side.

Shigure listened to Kyo and Yuki's story, about how the new boy at their school knew about the Sohma Curse. What troubled him though, was that Ren knew exactly what two animals they were right away. How was it possible that he knew? In any case, they needed to talk to Akito about this.

"Wait a minute, he couldn't be......could he?" Shigure asked quietly.
