"DAD IT'S THEM!!"

My dad looked deep into my eyes "Wake up."

Tears started rolling down my cheeks "What? Dad no we have to run!"

"Please Sam wake up!" My dad stood there not moving when I pulled on his shirt for him to run with me.

"DAD STOP!!"

"SAM PLEASE WAKE UP!" He yelled.

Suddenly I jolted up from my bed with tears running down my face.

I looked over to see my dad sigh as he was relieved I woke up.

"You were screaming." he said.

"Nightmare." I murmured.

"About what?" my dad asked tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Well, i had a dream i got out of the hospital, There was this girl, Julia who I became friends with at my new school on the first day. And I let her come over after school and you had a concert that night. at the concert I needed to use the washroom so I left and some guy grabbed me and knocked me out. When I woke up I was tied to a chair and he was whipping something across my face trying to get information about my... mom. But I escaped and I ran into you in a alley and then I saw the guys who were whipping me. I tried to run but you just stood there saying 'Wake Up.' And then I legit like actually woke up."

I explained.

"Your just freaking out about going to a new school." My dad said rubbing my back.

I nodded even though a new school would be nice.

"Hi Sam! So we took some blood while you were out and you have a steady enough blood pace to go home! Were releasing you tomorrow morning." a nurse said quickly making an appearance and then disappearing.

"I registered you into East High, your not going back to South High. I won't let you."

He looked at me deep like he had in my dream.

"That's fine." I said.

I layed back down and drifted off to sleep, I wanted it be morning so I could leave this stupid hospital.

-Next Morning- (not a dream)

"Go!" My dad pushed me slightly out of the car.

I looked back before shutting the door, here I go.

Into my new school.

I gotta admit, I'm a little more scared then I thought I would be.

My dad sighed. "Do i need to carry you inside?"

"Then people will make fun of me and I'll get bullied and it will be your fault." I argued back.

"Point taken. Just go!" he yelled and I finally walked up to the school.

The next few months went by not fast and not slow, I didn't exactly make friends but I had some people be a little nice to me.

Sometimes they'd offer me to eat with them at lunch, or help me with things I didn't know but I never talked to them out of class.

3 months later ...

"Good morning Class! okay, simmer down. No talking! Now, class we have a new student please be polite and have manners."

Suddenly a girl walked into class and pain hit everywhere in my body.

Miranda.

Miranda?! she's our new student?!

Miranda looked at me and instead or smirking or mouthing something about me getting my ass kicked later she looked at me with...Pain?

Before I could realize my actions, I was running.

Out the door, out the school, down the street .

I didn't stop running I just kept going until I ran into someone.

"Sam? Why aren't you in school?" Jerry asked picking himself up off the ground and helping me up.

"We had a new student today. It's Miranda!" I cried.

Jerry stood there shocked.

"C'mon lets get you home." He said instead of telling me to go back.

When we walked through the door, Dad got up from the couch as soon as he saw me.

"Sam why aren't you in school?"

I started to cry so Jerry whispered something in his ear.

"WHAT?!" Jacoby yelled.

Ding dong***

"I'll get it." Jerry suggested.

Moments later Jerry returned and said "Sam its for you."

I walked to the front door and there stood Miranda.
