Chapter 19

Jacobys POV-
I feel like such an idiot.

I glance over and look at Jerry fail at bowling.

I can't believe I just realized I'm going to miss Dakota and Lyrens birthday.

I have to do something, I can't miss my boys 16 birthday.

"Dad!" I hear.

"Huh what?" I ask.

"I said, you look upset." Sam said sitting down beside me.

I sighed. "Well I sort of am. I just realized I'm going to miss Dakota and Lyrens birthday."

Sam frowned. And then it turned into a smile "What if we fly them out here and throw them a surprise party?!"

I smiled too "THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!"

-2 Weeks Later-

The cake was on the table, the streamers where hanging, and everyone was hiding. Perfect.

We sent Samantha to go get the boys from the car, all though Kelly already knew this was happening.

The door opened a crack and Samantha came in first.

We all jumped out from behind our hiding spots and yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

Lyren and Dakota smiled together and it looked identical.

They both ran and hugged me "Thanks Guys! We actually thought you forgot about our birthday." Lyren said.

Dakota nodded in agreement.

"Of course not! I wouldn't miss my boys birthday." I smiled.

We all ate cake, drank pop and listened to music. It was an awesome time.

At about midnight Kelly fell asleep but there was something telling me to get up and go check on the kids.

So I did.

I hid around the corner and listened for a minute.

"Sam truth or dare?" Lyren asked.

"Truth." Sam quickly replied.

"What's your biggest secret?"

SIlence.

I looked around the corner and Sam was blushing.

"Okay, uh, my real name is Kennedy." she admired wait ... WHAT?

"WHAT?!" I blurted out without thinking.

They all looked in my direction.

"You heard nothing!" Sam screamed.

"Your real name is Kennedy?" I asked.

She sighed. "yes but I hated it so I changed it to Samantha."

I laughed. "Okay KENNEDY."
