"Leave. Just leave." I said firmly.

Miranda wouldn't dare hit me in front of my dad or Jerry.

"I just want to talk." Miranda croaked out.

I didn't know what to say, why did she want to talk? To apologize? No, that's not her.

"Okay," I managed to say.

"Well, after you switched schools, we all go the news that you had slit your wrists. I felt so bad I told everybody that the news paper was fake and I made it up. Everyone hated me, all of my friends left me, and I was getting bullied. So I moved." She explained.

I didn't know what to do. She... told everyone it was fake? Why? She hates me.

"Okay then answer me this." I said.

She nodded slowly.

"Why did you bully me and beat me up?" I asked crossing my arms.

Her eyes widened and she sighed.

"At my old school, the people there picked on me. I was the nerd. And of course, a few girls came along and started bullying me and beating me up. When I finally moved, I felt weak.

I felt like I was a weakling, so I started picking on you. Beating you up made me feel strong. But I was wrong to do that to you. You don't deserve it."She said, her voice cracking.

"Thank you." I said still in shock.

She gave me a weak smile before nodding her head and turning around and leaving.

I slowly closed the door.

What the hell just happened.

"What was that all about?" Jerry questioned.

"Um she came to apologize." I said and my dads mouth hung open.

"What?" He said.

"She said she felt bad after she heard about my little incident so she told everyone the news paper was fake and-"

"Wait, newspaper? What newspaper?" Jerry quickly asked.

My dad snatched the newspaper off of the coffee table an handed it to Jerry.
