"I like you too Simon..." and the grin on his face was all you needed to make you day as his lips joined yours once more.

"What the actual fuck?" your brother's voice startled the two of you as you turned towards the doorway to see a fuming josh standing there

Well, you're screwed...

You gazed with wide eyes as Josh stood in the doorway, scrambling off the couch and away from Simon

"Mate, I can explain..." Simon trailed off as he stood up as well, fear visible in his eyes.

"Yes please, Simon, explain what the fuck you were doing kissing my baby sister?" Josh's tone had you cowering in fear; however anger began bubbling up inside you. Josh had always been like this; over-protective, "Has this been going on for long? And no one bothered to tell me?" he continued and glancing at Simon's direction you could tell he was in no state to talk. Your eyes snapped to your brother, anger clearly visible

"No josh." You spoke, you voice coming out much stronger than you were feeling." no, it hasn't been going on for long. And if it was this is the exact reason why I wouldn't tell you" you spoke angrily, walking around the sofa and standing directly in front of the bearded man

"Stop treating me like a child, Josh; I'm getting sick of it already. I want to be able to date, kiss, whoever I want without you looking like you wanting to snap their neck off" Josh's expression softened ever so slightly at your words, his eyes finally leaving Simon and looking at you

"I can't help it, Y/N! You're my baby sister, I'm supposed to protect you!" He spoke with exasperation and you felt a pang of guilt

"I get that Josh, I do, but you have to let loose sometimes...you can be extremely suffocating at times" you muttered softer this time and you saw Josh's expression soften. Walking closer you embraced him In a tight hug

"I'm sorry, Y/N..." you heard him mutter softly and a small smile graced you lips as you pulled away

"I'll forgive you, but this is the last time, Josh" you spoke sternly and your brother nodded before you moved back a bit and stood next to Simon

"and just to clear things up, Nothing had happened between us yet" you spoke with a light blush fanning you cheek, "He had only just told me he like me.." you continued

"I trust you, Y/N, I do. But Simon" he spoke directing his gaze to the taller boy, "you and I will need to have a talk before anything else can happen" you giggled softly as you heard Simon gulp before following Josh out to the kitchen. He sent a 'help me' look over his shoulder, but you simply laughed at his expense, knowing Josh wouldn't dare do anything too radical.
