"You Can Do It"

Fandom: The Sidemen

People: Sidemen FC, YouTube All-stars, Simon x Reader

Summary: You reassure Simon he's going to do great during the match, and celebrate with him afterwards.

Requested: No

+++++

You were nervous, sure, but no one in the house was currently as nervous as your boyfriend. It was two days before the match and Simon was aimlessly walking around his room, hair a mess from running his hands through it constantly. You and Freya had just prepared lunch for the rest of the boys in the house, while she went to get the rest you walked into Simon's room, frowning at the expression on his face.

"Babe, stop worrying, will you?" you uttered softly, walking up to him and taking his hands in ours, making him finally stop pacing.

"I Can't, Y/N. What if everything just goes wrong all at once? Someone could be stuck in traffic; someone could have missed their flight. We might not have enough water. What if the stream doesn't wor-" you cut off his rambling by pressing you lips against his for a short few seconds

"Everything is going to be alright, Simon. You boys have been working so hard. It's all going to run smoothly. And if not, we have back up plans." You stood on you tip toes and wrapped your arms around his neck in a tight hug. His arms encircled your waist and he buried his face in the crook of your neck. You both pulled away after a few minutes and although he still looked unsure, a small smile played on his lips

"Thank you, Y/N. honestly I would know were id be without you"

"Probably a complete mess" you giggled softly, before taking his hand, "come on now, lunch is ready and everyone's waiting for you." You chuckled as you led him out towards the kitchen where everyone was already sat

*Match Day*

+++++

You had gone to the stadium a day earlier than the rest of the boy, accompanied by the girlfriends and the rest of the people who would be helping out behind the scene. Nervous would not accurately describe what you were feeling, and elephants were rampaging in your stomach as you stood in the changing room, fixing up the last of their kits. The boy should be arriving soon and you wanted everything to run smoothly.

Simon was the first to enter the changing room, his eyes scanning the room before they fell on you. You ran up to him, noticing the nervousness in his eyes, and engulfed him in a hug.

"It's going to be alright. You're gonna do great, Si" you mumbled before pulling away and grinning. Soon the rest of the team began filling in and you left the changing room, instead joining Freya by the benches, relaxing a bit as you watched the boys warm up

*Half Time*

+++++

You had sat nervously on the edge of your seat the whole of the first half of the match, and ran to greet the boys as they returned for half-time. There wasn't much time for chit chat as you helped everyone out with bottles of cold water and towels. Everything was going smoothly and the sidemen were currently in the lead. Your worry had disappeared considerably as everything seemed to be running smoothly.

*After the Match*

+++++

You cheered loudly as the match ended, the boys running off the pitch and you joined them, as a swarm of fans ran out onto the pitch. The sidemen had won 7-2 and you couldn't have been more proud of your boys. Simon spotted you in the crowd and ran your way, wrapping his arms around you and spinning you round before setting you down on the ground. You wrapped your arms around his neck, not caring that he was a sweating mess, and pressed your lips together

"See, I told you you were going to do great" you muttered with a smile on your face as you pulled away from the kiss

"Well, I did have my lucky charm cheering me on" he spoke smoothly, eyes twinkling and a giggle left your lips as you pushed him away

"Okay, Okay, Mr. Smooth talker, now go shower, you stink" you spoke, pinching your nose. Simon laughed along with you but complied as he ran into the changing room.

As the boys were changing, you felt overwhelmingly proud as Vikk collected the trophy and the event came to an end. The boys had done it. Your boys had done it...
