Summary: After the YouTube all-stars lose the match, Cal is feeling a bit down so you decide to tell him your feelings in hopes of cheering him up.

You weren't disappointed. Not at all, really. The boys had given it their best, but the sidemen's teamwork could not have been matched. You weren't sad at the outcomes, but happy for your friends and the cause that they had been supporting, however it was only natural for the loosing team to be a little bit disappointed.

You had been friends with the sidemen for quite a while now, having met through Vikk, who you met through your own MineCraft channel. You understood how much work it could be to run a channel and happened to get along with the boys, as well as their girlfriends pretty well. You had been introduced to the Cals only a few months back, and had almost immediately hit of with Calfreezy, though nothing ever really happened between you two. There had always been flirtatious banter, but it never seemed to progress from there, though your feelings for the tall blonde grew day by day.

The boys were currently exiting the pitch, and you could easily pick out the look of disappointment on Cal's face. You knew he would blame nobody but himself, especially since he was captain. Dismissing it for now you focused in the vlog you had been making, making a mental note to talk to him as soon as everyone was out.

Cal was one of the last few people to come out of the changing rooms, and although a smile was plastered to his face you could still see the loss had affected him. You caught up to him as he came out of the rooms, smiling as you greeted him with ah hug

"You were honestly great out there, Cal" you mumbled into his chest before pulling away and tilting your head to look up at his eyes

"I was pretty good, wasn't i?" he chuckled softly, draping an arm across your shoulder as the two of you made your way outside together.

"I shouldn't have said that. It only fueled your humongous ego even more" you spoke with a roll of your eyes and a small giggle.

Cal had been oddly quite the whole way back to the hotel some of them were staying at, you included, and it worried you quite a bit. As everyone returned to their rooms, preparing for a night of celebration, you followed Cal back to his.

"Stop beating yourself up over it. It wasn't your fault, you know" you spoke as the two of you entered his room, closing the door behind you. Cal's eyes snapped towards you, filled with confusion

"You can't fool me that easily, I know you better than that" You spoke, smiling gently as you walked closer to him.

"I was captain, Y/N, of course it was my fault, and I could have done so much better" He spoke and you saw his resolve crumble. You walked closer to him and took his face in your hands, standing on you tiptoes to reduce the height difference

"Listen to me, Cal. It wasn't your fault. No one is going to blame you. You were amazing out there, but you guys just didn't have enough time to practice as a team, whereas the sidemen did." You smiled as you felt him wrap his arms around your waist and let out a breath, his blue eyes staring into your own. "Plus, you do look pretty good in a football jersey" you spoke smirking slight and you felt him chuckle softly, wrapping your arms around his neck.

The two of you stood there for a few minutes, silently staring into each other eyes before you mustered up the courage to speak again

"Cal?"

"hmm?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Go ahead..."

"I think..." feeling too embarrassed to say it out loud, you leaned up even more, pressing you lips against the blondes, pulling away almost instantly as a dark blush fanned your cheeks. His grip around you waist tightened as a grin overcame his face and he pressed your lips together once more, this time, however, it lasted much longer.

"I think one good think came out of this night" he spoke as the two of you pulled apart

"Is that so? And what would that be?"

"I finally got you...", and his lips once again met yours.
