Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Ding. I was standing on my base plate as I noticed everyone else running, dying, or picking up materials at the Cornucopia for survival. It was chaos. I quickly dashed away from my base plate and ran into the forest when suddenly something pounced on me. "Please don't kill me! Greg! Greg! Where are you? Help!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I struggled to get out of the grip of the person on top of me. "Please spare my life! I don't want to die!" I said with my face spasming with emotions. "Help!" suddenly I felt a razor blade pressed up against my neck, so close I could already feel it cutting through my skin. "Don't struggle, it'll cause more pain." The voice said before slicing my neck fast and painfully. "Ah!" I howled as I could feel my blood gushing out of my neck. "Greg!"

"Niall wake up. Niall?" I heard a voice coming out of no where. "Niall." The image of me being under someone slowly faded as my eyes fluttered open to reality. I turned to look at Greg's worried eyes. "Niall are you all right?" He said softly. "No." I said as a hugged him tightly and started to weep. "What were you dreaming about? You kept whispering my name and your body didn't stop moving. "I Dreamt that we had already gotten into the arena and that someone had pounced on me and sliced my neck causing it to gush blood quickly. It was horrible Greg. It felt so real." I cried harder as I could feel Greg leaning in closer and tightly hugging me. "It's all fine now Niall. Everything is ok now. I'm here to protect you from those horrible people." Greg said as I could feel a tear escape his eye and land on my neck.

"Attention tributes. Your loved ones will be coming in now to see you. You will all have 5 minutes to talk to them. Thank you." The speaker had informed us as Greg and I got up and got changed into our pants. We slowly pulled up our pants and buckled it. We then placed our socks on and then our shoes. I tied mine a little tighter than usual. "I think I hear them coming." Greg poked me as I could see a cheeky smile take over his face.

"You will have 5 minutes." I heard someone say behind the door before it swung opened. Behind the door stood my Mum and Dad who had came running towards us with wide opened arms. "How was it? Did they do anything to you guys?" My father stuttered with each word he said. "We're find Dad." I said chuckling. "In fact, being in here was a luxury." My mother smiled softly before becoming serious. "Boys, we know this isn't much, but your Father and I would like to give you these." My mother slowly pulled out 2 mocking jay shaped pins from her pocket. She handed one of them to each of us, motioning for us to put them on. "Mom, Dad, you shouldn't have..." Greg softly spoke. "We wanted to. We want you guys to know that we will always be watching you and rooting for you 2 boys." My Dad said before pulling us into a big hug. "5 minutes are over." The Peacekeeper said before pulling on my Mum and Dad, motioning them to the door. "Bye, we will see you soon." My mum mouthed as she slowly waved goodbye.

"I hope we get to see them again..." I softly whispered. "We will Niall. Have faith." Greg spoke out before going to go pack our clothes into our bags. If only I had faith. I just shrugged it off and went to go help Greg. I grabbed my dirty clothes from the bathroom and noticed Greg had left his there too. I bent down to grab his clothes as well before leaving the bathroom. "Here Greg, our dirty clothes." I spoke before throwing it to Greg who caught it and placed it into the bag. I noticed him pile both our clothes in that one bag so neatly. He's always been the tidy one.

"You guys have to go now. Your train to the Capitol is waiting for you 2 and the girls." The Peacekeeper said as he waited for us to leave. We exited the room as the Peacekeeper locked the door. He went walking off which we guessed was a queue for us to follow him as well. We followed him to one of the girls rooms and She instantly came out of the room with her purse, guessing that's where she kept her belongings. The Peacekeeper locked her door as he continued walking, the girl joining our little stride to the next girls room. He opened the door and just like the other one, she was ready to get going. She was carrying a black and red small backpack on her back. She stepped out of the room as the Peacekeeper locked the final door. He motioned us to follow him and we did as told. The 4 of us were led to a glass door. The man opened the door for us as we all walked out. He followed behind us and instructed us to get on a train, explaining to us that it will take us to the Capitol. We noticed all our loved ones who came waving at us from behind the fence of the Justice Building. We all waved back as we boarded the Tribute Train. Greg and I decided to let the ladies go first and they did. Greg motioned for me to get in front of him and I did. Greg was the last one to board the train and once he had gotten in, the doors shut and the train started to peddle. I instantly went for an open window and waved to my mum and dad. They waved back as the train sped itself, making my parents disappear out of my sight. I sighed.
